work hard to brew the best beer around. The news has already spread — drinking Goldmine is a richly rewarding experience.

NOTE: This is the same beer as Copper Bell Lager, renamed due to legal action from Bell’s. Brewed for Whole Foods Market.

Sampled at Dan’s after Top of the Hops tasting. Clear pale yellow pour with ring of white head. Corny, grainy, little sweet malt. Almost no hops. Very drinkable though. Good for a bmc substitute.

12 oz can Purchased at Whole Foods. This is a typical pale lager in a can. The lager poured a clear shiny gold color. The head was a white frothy foam with lacing. This lager has a nice crisp taste with a mild sweetness. The carbonation was soft and the finish smooth with no bitter aftertaste.

The pour is a pale yellow/straw color with a soapy white head. Heavy on the straw notes, a bit of water, and wet paper. Some apple, corn sugar, and a bit of chlorine/bleach. The flavor is quite watery. A bit of grain sweetness, some straw, and some apple. Not really much redeeming going on here.

Can from beerboxer. Has a nasty lager aroma. Like beer swill. Color is yellow with a bright white head. Taste is actually plesent for a lager. Light crisp taste. Good for doing yardwork

Thanks drake! Floral, perfume-y nose, lightly fruity yeast. The malt is doughy and sweet with a bit of honey and ripe pear. Hopping is not noticeable. Thin body.

12oz can courtesy of drake: pours a clear pale golden with a thin wispy-lacing white head. Has a dry lightly skunked grassy nose with a touch of honey. Starts with decent fullness and mild grainy malty sweetness with a decent balance of bittering hops before a fairly clean finish. Aroma is off-putting, but once you get past it, this is fairly drinkable.

Pour out of 12 oz can, thanks Drake! Clear yellow pour, pretty fizzy white head. Wanted this as it was 90+ today, seemed like a good day for it. Aroma brought notes of wet grain, corn, slight fusels, hints of hay, spicy notes, some slight pineapple. Taste is sweet corn, grain and hay notes, slight spice and more grain, slight fruit, finishing bitter, clean. Some off and adjunct notes in here for sure.

12oz can thanks to Drake. Pours a clear straw, larger forced carbonation. Medium, suddy soap foam. Little to no lace. Nose is sugar cube and canned pineapple. Taste is sweet, sugar cube, canned pineapple, small soap. Not gross, but why not just drink Bud Light?

It’s a smooth and crisp taste. It’s refreshing and doesn’t overwhelm the senses. Mmmm.
