2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Poured a clear brown amber colour with a one- to two-finger off white foamy head that retained OK. Laced as sudsy streaks. Carbonation moderate to high with large bubbles. Aroma of sweet molasses. Taste similar with no real bitterness. Light body. Sweet crisp finish. Lighter than I was expecting from a dark lager. Nothing special but not offensive.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
17 nov 2013, bottle brought back from Israel. Dark yellow/faint amber, clear, some occasional bubbles. Nose is straw/lager malt, a bit tart, faint toast. Thin body and mildly fizzy. Lager with a hint of medium toast. Actually decent. A bit more flavor than a lager but with the same light body.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Clear amber body, medium off white head. Musty, cardboard aroma. Malty flavor with a bit caramel. Not terrific overall but was nice to try while in Israel.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours dark copper amber with almost white big long lasting head. Aroma is malts, little roast, grains and hay. Palate is thin watery, with medium weak carbonation. Taste is mostly malty a bit sweet with edgy bitter dry hops kicking in in the aftertaste. A simple lager with flavors of mix of Märzen and normal Pilsener. Technically OK a beer. Drinkable but average.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Slight macro lager with a hint of spice to it. Pours a clear copper in the glass. Slight toasty malt flavor with more of the spice from the aroma. Clean and crisp but not terribly exciting. Thanks to Dandman629 for the hookup from Israel.

Not an overly flash beer - though it’s a lager so to be expected. More malty flavour than I expected, but lacked carbonation.

Bottle. Light amber color. Quick head. No lace. Aroma is a malty, almost metallic smel. Taste is like a sweet pale ale.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Tried in a restaurant adjoining the Dead Sea. Although the label claims that it is a dark lager it didn’t look that way to me. More like a standard Euro-Fizz lager. Nothing really wrong with it but nothing really interesting apart from the venue where it was drunk so I will always remember it.

Bottle @ home courtesy of Homer321. Thanks Homey! Israel tick. Pours a clear burnt orange appearance with a thin off white head. Caramel, a bit skinny, cardboard aroma. A bit tangy, somewhat oxidized, papery, caramel flavor. Tastes like shit.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
12 oz. single purchased from Town Center Liquor Barn; Louisville. Aroma: Soggy corn puffs, sorghum. Appearance: Hazy light caramel pour with a thin layer of off-white head. Flavor: Pretty much the nose; sweet, corny cereal with a sorghum-like tang- really almost reminds me of an African lager; the finish adds some caramel, and is probably the most tolerable part of this beer. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, long finish. Overall: A pretty flawed beer, but not undrinkable if no other alternates present themselves. Israel, check.
