2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
From a 12oz. bottle. Pours a rich golden color, almost amber, with a white head that looks like sea foam. Smell is malty. Taste has strong malt body with very present hops. This is full of flavor compared to American big name lagers, and so much better. Not bad.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
4/16/12. 12oz bottle. Clear dark amber pour - reds and browns in there - under a small khaki head that fades and barely laces. Sweet, grainy aroma with some apples, fusel alcohols, and medicine. Sweet and slightly tart flavor with graininess, hay, more apples and fusels, and general... blech. Eh.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Sep 2011: 33cl Brown bottle brought back by my daughter and her husband while on holiday in and around Isreal, Egypt and Jordon.
Poured into a Budweiser Budvar stemmed goblet: Clear, dull golden coloured body, huge snow white crown on top, bubbles rising through the beer to greet and meet their mates in the head. Unlike so many beers in the lager/pilsner classes, this kept it’s lovely head throughout the review, makes a pleasant change.
Odourless, gets my usual score of 3 for a non-smelling lager/pilsner. Long grass and grains might have been in the aroma, but not enough to write about. Even as the beer warmed a little in the glass, nothing worthy of mention came into my nose.
The taste is of weak, pale malts and hidden hops, nothing strong or assertive, pleasant enough but nothing exciting or different.
In short a ’run of the Mill’ lager from a strange and distant land, without any distictive attributes or factors.
