1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Courtesy of Fonefan. It is warm golden with a white head. The aroma has a light sweetness and notes of malt and light candy sugar. The flavour has the same notes and it is pretty dull.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Goldstar is a crystal clear golden beer with a creamy off-white head that has good retention and lacing. There’s not much aroma-- maybe funk and lemon. It is light bodied and smooth with a clean finish. There’s not much flavor. It’s a little funky, almost salty, a touch sweet with a hint of lemon. It’s OK.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Not bad for what it is. It pours a light amber with a frothy head. Taste and aroma does not have as much corn as most. It has a mellowed sweet malt taste but the hops balance this out.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aluminum 330ml bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy gold color with a thin white head. Taste is of malt, corn, caramel, grass and is kind of sweet. Has a sweet malt aroma. Has a nice mouthfeel and isn’t too watery. Easy to drink. Not bad for a pale lager and is worth a try.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
(bottle - 330 ml) Clear yellow pour with a soapy white head. Aroma is corn, dry grains, some stale hops, and grass. Flavor is sweet and crisp at the start that gives way to a mildly bitter middle and a sweet and dry finish. Dry grass and some hops are present and the malts round it up.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Darker blond, light amber coloured beer, lots of carbonation, small white head. Rather sweet malty-like aroma. Medium palate. Finish is light bitter-sweet, maltyness and light sweetness near the end. Easy drinkable, not that bad.
