1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Brownish amber and a fluffy white head with a similar appearance to New Zealand mainstream styles. Aromas of German lager malts with a bit of amber malt. No discernible hop aromas at all.
The flavour has a short measure of the German malts and very little else. Just unremarkable.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled at gregwilsons tasting. Thanks Doran. Clear amber gold with a tiny white ring. A very different animal here. Grain and soft fruit. Something like ginger or some such spice. Earth. Odd.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Aroma - caramel, corn, and no hops to speak of.
Appearance - hazy sienna colored body. The head is off-white about 1/8", the head settles to a layer of foam.
Taste - the taste has caramel and not much else. The flavor itself is a little weak.
Palate - on the light side of medium, thin feel, flat, not much at all in the finish.
Could have just been sitting in the store too long.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can, 0.50l, shared with colleagues, courtesy of Shlomi. Clear amber brown color with thin creamy white head, nice lacing and soft visible carbonation. Aroma of caramel, cereals and paper. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel, follows grainy and vegetably without any bitterness at all. Light body, slick texture and soft carbonation in palate. Quite boring, but at least decent thirst quencher...

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Sampled from a 33cl bottle from a Golders Green grocery store. Amber colour and a caramel taste. Very light and watery with a hint of milk chocolate. Not much hop flavour. Quite clean and refreshing, so probably quite refreshing in a hot climate, even though it is quite sweet.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
11.2 ounce bottle poured into a brandy snifter. The beer is a clear darker amber color with a beige head of foam that dissippates quickly. The aroma has light toast character and a hint of carrot cake spice. Medium sweetnesw and crisp bitterness. Some metallic notes. Lighter body and medium carbonation. Not bad, really.

In Paris. Dark lager beer, 4.9% Hazed brown-gold, light for a ‘dark’ beer. Vaguely vienna. Soft minuscule caramel. Quite sweet, sickly banana-cocoa.
