Flip top bottle (BZ, BB 01/2011)
Dark amber color, small beige head. Dark malts, ash, grassy hops in the nose. Light to medium bodied. Malts, ash, some grassy hoppyness. Basic, not so sweet -dunkel.

50cl bottle from Bierzwerg. Poured dark brown with a thin head. Aroma is rye bread, roasted malt. Flavor has rye, sweet malt, light toastedness. Bit too sweet for me.

From Tap in the old Brewery. The taste is a bit malty, a little bit dark malty-sweet, in the aftertaste that taste is a bit stronger. There is nothing special, it´s a beer without interesting flavours but it´s drinkable. The aftertaste is the best part.

Sticky liquorice nose with cola brown body, a decent light but consistent head. Malty Dunkel blast with a tightening wheat finish, small sweet notes throughout without anything desperate kicking out. Smooth finish throughout with the carbonation lasting out. Thoroughly superior to the Erdinger equivalent. (Bottle, Pond, Edinburgh)

500ml bottle a dark brown colored beer with a white head aroma malts spice and hops flavor malts fruits some caramel spice and hops

Bottle. Dark brown with beige head. Lots of roasted character. Mild woody smoke. Pretty nice stuff.

Bottle. Pours a deep chestnut color with a big, creamy greyish-tan head. The nose is sweet malts, biscuit, cherry, sugary milk. The taste is lightly sweet, plenty of malt flavor. There’s some woody toasted tobacco flavor on the finish. The body is medium, the carbonation medium/active. Overall, an easy-drinking beer. The simple flavors made this nice with food.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Schon beim Ausschank strömt ein süßlich malziges Aroma in die Nase. Im Glas schön dunkelrot und getrübt, mit wunderbarer feinporiger, cremefarbenden Krone. Der Antrunk ist eine Offenbarung. Schön röstmalzig, leicht karamellig und kaffeeartig. Zum Mittelteil hin wird’s ein wenig bitterer und fast schon ein wenig Rauchbier-artig.

Bottle at Wasana local tasting. Clear amber color, massive tan ice cream cone head. Aroma of malted milk balls and biscuits. Taste is light toast. Light body.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Very deep ruby colour, mediumsized fluffy off-white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is toasted malts, some mild caramel, roast as well as some dark fruity and nutty notes. Flavour is nutty, wooden, roasted, mildly ashy as well as some slight smoked wet wooden notes.
