500 ml flip-top bottle in Germany. Pours a yellow gold with a fine white head. Aroma is of malt, hops and somedried fruits. Taste is a bit strange for a Märzen. Has some malts with dry paper and sweetness. The palate rips you the other direction with bitterness and then ends with a lingering dryness.

5/11/11/10/8/11

Bottle from the brauhaus. Blond color. The aroma is mild but strange; it comes in waves: honey, malt, vegetables, straws, hay. Poor flavor, corn and vegetables, with medium-low bitterness. Extremely boring.

Bottle, danke an Bochum. Golden, many bubbles, white head. Aromatic bready aroma. Chewy entry, solid bready, light grain, good bitter hop-profile with staying power to balanace . Medium body, light carbonation bite. Crisp, moreish pilsnerlike, certainly one of Göllers better offerings.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Golden, lacy white head, shy bisquity-woody nose with a faint papery touch; moderate to solid dryish bitter-sweet flavour, almost medium bodied; slightly lingering, quite solid, citrussy-hoppy finish with a grainy base. O.K. , but only average by Göller standards.........

(swing top bottle) Clear, golden colour with a dense and medium-sized foamy white head. Slightly grainy and draffy malty aroma with a shy herbal hoppy touch. Mildly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dry malt-character with herbal hoppy spice; bitter and slightly sweet finish with rounded grainy and herbal accents. Not particularly exciting but still a decent and easy-going Märzen. 29.III.11
