Copper with a small, but lasting off-white head. Aroma of toffee and fruit. Sweet toffee flavour with caramel and a touch of alcohol. Has a bit of hoppy bitterness in the finish, but not enough to balance the sweetness

Sehr viel Co2 für ein Bockbier mit anständiger Schaumkrone. Malzig-karamelliger und sehr delikater Geruch.
Wenig süßer Anfang. Die Mitte erscheint malziger mit röstigen Kaffeenoten. Aromatisch weicher Hintergrund. Malziger Ausklang. Kaum alkoholische Spuren im Finish.

Von Anfang an beherrscht eine süßliche Würze das Aroma, am Anfang ist es zudem leicht hopfig. Während das würzige Aroma mit der Zeit zurück geht, bildet sich im Mittelteil auch ein herber Ton, zu dem im Nachgeschmack eine leichte Bitterkeit stößt. Netter Bock für kühlere Tage.

Bottle @ Odense Tasting, June 2011. Pours amber with a small creamy white head on top. Sweet nose and flavor with notes of caramel, fruit and grain. A bit of toffee. Smooth and medium bodied.

Bottle. It’s a clear, dark amber beer with a creamy, two-finger off-white to beige head. The aroma is fruity, roasted and with a touch of caramel. Decent hoppy touch. Some alcohol notes in the mouth, dry, warming and nicely carbonated. Roasted malts, caramel and dried fruits in the flavor, nice. Lasting roasted flavor with a touch of bitterness, at least it’s not unbalanced. A quite pleasant bock, tasteful and pleasant, and it was nice with some green pepper infused brie as a side dish. 110601
