Bottle. Golden, hazy, average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish aroma with light bread and light caramel, faint hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light bread with light vegetable hoppyness. Finish is short to average, malty and lightly sweetish with some bread, light vegetable hoppyness and light barnyard flavor. Bad batch?

Bottle (50 cl swing-top) from bierzwerg.de. Shady deep golden, large fluffy white head. Grainy and hayish malt aroma with some herbal hops and a slightly disturbing eathy potatoe or vegetable note. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Dry with medium but firm bitterness.

Swing-top by 09.02.12. Big citrus, some grass and hay in the sweet malt nose, and there’s some doughy caramel underneath. Big rocky beige head over a highly-carbonated golden body. Taste is sweet with medium (surprising) bitterness, very light body is soft with a touch of spritz. Bready and malty, light spicy yeast component, nice mineral and chalk coating and a slight fruitiness. This one really brings it!

0.5l flip-top bottle bought in Bavaria, pours dark gold with a big fast-shrinking head and aromas of bread, soft fruit and a hint of nutmeg or clove. Rich flavour that is initially dry, then filling out with malt sweetness and a touch of toffee, all balanced by a dry bitterness and some fine hoppy notes.

[9/29/11] Mahleket Hanikot Shotrim ’11 tour. Bottle at Řlbaren in Copenhagen. Served in a ceramic mug. Aroma of some slightly vegetal yeast, a bit of malt and some noble hops. Flavor has some slightly bready malt sweetness, some earthy and slightly vegetal yeast and a bitter hoppy finish. Medium-bodied.

Sörspecialista, Budapest. Ködös, narancsos mély arany színe van, fehér habja kemény és igen kitartó. Illatában egyeduralkodó a komló, mely egyszerre füves, fűszeres és citrusos. Ízéréről hasonló jókat lehet mondani, férfiasan keserű és jó száraz, némi élesztős és malátás utóízzel. Közepesen testes, kellemesen szénsavas és finom, melyeknek köszönhetően hatalmas kortyokban pusztítható. Remek sör!
