pivnizub (7239) - Bochum, Porúří, - OCT 29, 2006
Flip-top bottle: Big rocky white head, sticking to the glass, pale golden coloured; dense sweet-malty, slightly worty aroma with a big sweet-aromatic floral hoppy nose; robust sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; robust sweet, almost caramelly, and hoppy finish. Superb franconian brew, could be almost a Bohemian Pilsener.........

500ml Flip-top bottle, well in date: the third beer in my German and lager based tasting evening in Aug 2011. Very pale, golden body, light yellow really. On top a head of snowy white big bubbles which produced some good lacing. Odourless, like most lagers/pilsners: gets my regular score of 3 for a non-smelling one. Dry up front, but becoming a little more malty and forgiving after the first sip. A Mr Average is most aspects really. Nothing wrong with it, but lacks that punch or zeal to impress on any front.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!

DruncanVeasey (5150) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Prem, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JAN 8, 2012
Bottle from Arden Wines. Straw-coloured and streaming with bubbles with a huge, uneven ruff of suds. Juicy, cut grass, pollen and honey aroma. An aromatic, drying pilsener with a lingering fresh bread and honey malt character backed with some serious, shrubby hop. Slick, conditioned and grass-sodden to the point of lemoniness. Maybe loses its fizz a bit quickly, but its not a beer intended to be contemplated, but slugged. When pils is this good I don’t want to drink anything else.

downender (4389) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - AUG 21, 2011
Bottle from Corks, Bristol. Pours pale gold with a decent, billowy head and moderate carbonation. Light, bready malt aroma with some hay and grassy hops. Sweetish malt flavour, with a suggestion of lemon and decent, bitter finish. Good.

UPDATED: MAY 30, 2012 (Bottled) Everything about this pils is good : Tall foamy cream head above yellow; spicy minty hops , A deep rich malt showcase - lotta dry bitterness. Something lovely and unassuming here.

Test vom 4.9.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,11,12,8,12,11 - 10,65

ogreface (864) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAR 17, 2011
Könnyen iható, frissítő jellegű pilseni a munkás hétköznapokra.

Dedollewaitor (10298) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 5, 2010
Bottle @ Bamberg. Different label. Pours clear golden with a large frothy white head and lacings. Nose is hay and grain. Dry and bitter flavor with notes of perfume and sweet malts. Smooth palate. Dry and hoppy lasting end.
