Bottle. Copper hazy colour. Aroma sweet yeast and some banana with some fruitiness. Flavour is yeasty, sweet, fruity and with some spices too. Good but I sure have had better Hefe-Weizen than this.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bügelverschlußflasche: Slightly amber coloured, medium-sized, quite firm off-white head; yeasty, fruity (bananas) nose with a touch of torrified wheat (almost smoked !); sweetish flavour, a bit oily, light to medium bodied; sweet-bready finish with a touch of toasted malt and some lemons and bananas. A unusual, but tasty Weizen.......

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Swing-top. Slightly-off aroma of wheat and malt. Hazy dark orange pour with a short lacing whitish head. Mouth is crisp and spicy, a bit of bready/pretzelly malt, wheaty and dry. A little sourness creeping in, but no bitterness. Slightly acidic but without any notes of citrus. Light-bodied. Mouthfeel’s a little too harsh for the style.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
(swing top bottle, bought at the brewery tap) Hazy, deep orange-golden colour with a thick off-white foamy head. Moderately sweet and slightly sour wheaty aroma with notes of bananas and apples, dusty and slightly clovy. Sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium body, rather soft carbonation. Wheaty and fruity taste with a light sourish touch; yeasty, slightly bitter and tart finish with clovy spice. Drinkable but not perfectly rounded Weizen.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at Battersea Beer Festival 2006. Hazy orange/amber colour. Fresh and juicy, tropical fruit aroma. More banana than lemon on the palate. Plenty of spicy cloves and vanilla too. But the lack of citric bite leaves it feeling a touch flabby.
