2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Just a standard old style beer from way back. Light color and taste. Hasn’t got a lot going on with it, but that is part of what makes it great.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
This one poured an amber yellow with a shortlived head. Aroma was slightly bready. Malt note was cereal with a slight nutty component. Hops were balanced and of an herbal nature. Good session brew.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Without looking it up, I’d probably say this was a lager. It is a lightly flavored and mildly sweet beer w/ a hazy golden color and a small head. I am not sure if the bottle I got is old or if it’s by design but there is a nutty note that makes me think oxidation. It is actually a rather pleasant flavor and not bitter or metallic so I’ll just give them the benefit of the doubt. While nothing about this strikes me as particularly exception, it is a beer that succeeds at what it seems to be drying to be which is a light, lager-like ale.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle. Average pour with white head. Smells like grain and corn. Flavor is much too light. The malt is detectable but the hops aren’t. Grassy and lemony palate. Not horrible but not spectacular either.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap in Galena, IL A light golden beer with a huge bubbly white head - due to high carbonation. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of lemongrass, while the flavor is sweet with notes of both straw and lemongrass. The body is thin.

Yellow pour from bottle at Andy's. bubbly. Thin white head. Lemon and refreshing scent. Light bodied, easy drinking, like a lemonade light with carbonation. Not bad. Expected worse

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Straw yellow pour, almost no head. Nose is lemon. Sweet. Middle is slightly bread and water. Somebody squeezed lemon on the bread and water out the back. I did not not know what to expect, so I was not really ready for this beer. Might be good with fresh water fish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle poured to a Czech-pils glass with a clear & bright, light golden color, fair persistence to the bubbly white head froth, and some transparency to the wavy lacing. The aroma was light grain, a touch of corn, some sweetness, and just a hint of caramel. Almost a light lager scent,.. maybe lager yeast used? The flavor was moderate & earthy hop bitterness with some lingering nature, and a hint of lemon. There was decent enough carbonation to successfully carry the hop & flavors, and keep the brew from tasting watery. Light bodied, and a tasty, summer hydrator as was obviously meant to be by the choice of style,...and the name.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tap at Potosi. For what it is, it’s good. Simple, mild flavor - nothing offensive. Straightforward light beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at home courtesy of elkhunter36. Thanks man! Pour is clear lemon with a bright white head and decent lacing. Very muted aroma - grain, cereal, lemon peel, dough, biscuit, and light floral characteristics. Taste is soft, citrusy, lightly grassy, biscuit, floral, a bit earthy, and spicy. Light body with high carbonation. Mild and easy-drinking; nothing special, but kind-of underrated IMO.
