This deep colored American Brown Ale is often requested and one of our personal favorites. Many a weekend was spent perfecting this one. Brewed with 2 - row pale and 5 specialty malts, its malty in both flavor and smell. A heap of Cascade and Willamette add to balance this easy drinking ale. Hole up, have a few, and tell us what you think. Were bettings its the best American Brown Ale youll ever have.

Reddish-brown with an off-white head. It has a sweet, bread aroma that matches the taste. The medium body has a creamy texture, average carbonation, and a dry finish.

20120826 12oz can from Stem and Stein in Madison, AL. Muddy medium brown with small tan head. Aroma is cider and pennies, with some black tea and salty pretzel. The can was coated with a sticky goo near the top, which I assumed is not a great sign. Thin bodied and evenly though barely carbonated. Astringent burnt bread notes and some leaf mold. Generally unpleasant. Well, its at least another humorous can from the good people at Good People. Luckily, Alabama is now thriving with other new and delicious brews.

Can. Pours a dark brown color with a medium off-white head. Smell is a decent hop aroma with toasted caramel malts. The flavor is a hop forward brown with nice bitterness and citrus with the caramel, nuttiness and light cocoa. Great for style.

Great aroma, but there is a burnt Carmel taste that builds on the palate and the hops in this batch taste rather old. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz can from Shig, thanks man. Murky light brown with a light tan head. Aroma if biscuit dough, nuts, herbal hops and some mineral qualities. Flavor is rich and malty with notes of toffee, dough and nuts with a light hop bitterness. Medium body with average carbonation. Solid brown, very malty and not overly sweet.

Shared by turdferguson. Pours a murky reddish orange brown with one finger of sandy tan head that is very quick to break down. Nose is kind of weird, Im getting acetaldehyde for sure. Kind of nutty with some biscuity notes. Nose screams bad fermentation. Awful flavor, old cereal and brown sugar with stale bread and paper coming through. Cidery with lightly tart fruity esters. Bleeeeeeh.

Can from shig. Thanks Shawn! Cloudy dark copper pour with a thick tan head. Nose is lightly sweet, brown sugar, slightly nutty, lots of fruit, light bitterness. Flavor is similar, lightly chalky, some peat, dark fruits. Finishes kinda earthy and minerally. Solid effort outta bama. Definitely thin and lightly tart bit still more drinkable than many browns out there ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
