COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This deep colored American Brown Ale is often requested and one of our personal favorites. Many a weekend was spent perfecting this one. Brewed with 2 - row pale and 5 specialty malts, its malty in both flavor and smell. A heap of Cascade and Willamette add to balance this easy drinking ale. Hole up, have a few, and tell us what you think. Weíre bettings itís the best American Brown Ale youíll ever have.

UPDATED: DEC 17, 2012 12 oz. can from The Fresh Market in Daphne. Pours a cloudy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of toast, banana but bread, leaves, almonds, and tobacco. Flavor of caramel, tobacco, banana but bread, cereal, dried fruits. Light-bodied, with modest carbonation and a leafy mouthfeel. Dry finish. Drinks better straight out of the can.

This brown was one of the hoppest browns I ever drank. Mostly hop in the nose with a nice roast / hop presence in the taste. I think itís a good brew from Good People

Reddish-brown with an off-white head. It has a sweet, bread aroma that matches the taste. The medium body has a creamy texture, average carbonation, and a dry finish.

20120826 12oz can from Stem and Stein in Madison, AL. Muddy medium brown with small tan head. Aroma is cider and pennies, with some black tea and salty pretzel. The can was coated with a sticky goo near the top, which I assumed is not a great sign. Thin bodied and evenly though barely carbonated. Astringent burnt bread notes and some leaf mold. Generally unpleasant. Well, itís at least another humorous can from the good people at Good People. Luckily, Alabama is now thriving with other new and delicious brews.

Can. Pours a dark brown color with a medium off-white head. Smell is a decent hop aroma with toasted caramel malts. The flavor is a hop forward brown with nice bitterness and citrus with the caramel, nuttiness and light cocoa. Great for style.

Great aroma, but there is a burnt Carmel taste that builds on the palate and the hops in this batch taste rather old. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
