COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This deep colored American Brown Ale is often requested and one of our personal favorites. Many a weekend was spent perfecting this one. Brewed with 2 - row pale and 5 specialty malts, its malty in both flavor and smell. A heap of Cascade and Willamette add to balance this easy drinking ale. Hole up, have a few, and tell us what you think. Weíre bettings itís the best American Brown Ale youíll ever have.

can - liquor express - pours slightly cloudy reddish brown with not a lot of head. Aroma is piney with a touch of caramel. Taste is bitterer than I was expecting with a mildly dry finish. Decent brown ale.

355mL can thanks to blutt59. Pours a hazy, murky deep amber to brown with a towering, yellowish head. Very nice retention and suddy lace. Looks great. Towering root beer float head. Pretty much permanent head. Wow. Nose at first is a little detergent heavy, lemon soap, muted rustic malt. Moves very nicely to amaretto and pound cake. Taste up front is pretty damn tart and mildly acidic. Long lemon juice finish. Not sure what happened here. Palate is both very harsh and buttery/slick.

12oz can courtesy of jzzbassman! Pours cloudy amber/brown with a medium off-white head. Aroma is very herbal, with cocoa, nuts, and rotting citrus. Oh man, I almost canít describe how bad this is, but here goes...The sour and bitterness is face puckering, itís like bitter dirt. Itís like I dropped a piece of caramel in the dirt still ate it and the to cleanse my mouth drank tea with rubbing alcohol. I hope this was just a bad can.

Can courtesy of Doodler (thanks Scott) poured a hazy reddish brown with a lasting tan head. Aromas of cocoa, carmel and a hint of fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, light copcoa and a hint of nuttiness with a smooth malty finish.

Can. Pours Lehigh brown with an inch of brown head. Big caramel malts on the nose. Nice balance of maltiness and hop flavor on the tongue. Clean finisher.

Can. Pours medium brown with a small white head. Nose is sugary, with some hop notes. Taste is slightly roasty malts, with a slight hop profile. A bit sharp but goes down smoothly. Body is light-to-medium and is well carbonated. Not a bad beer for a style thatís never been one of my favorites.

Received in trade from GPHarris, thanks for the opportunity! Pours a light shade of brown, or a dark shade of copper with a decent ivory head that dissipates to a cap and leaves spotty lace. Smells of toffee and brown sugar, a hint of chocolate and a touch of butterscotch. Very clean sweet malty aroma with a hint of earthy hops deep underneath. Taste is toffee brown sugar malts with a hint of chocolate and caramel. Sweet and malty. Creamy smooth mouthfeel, moderate level of carbonation, medium body. This is a nice little session ale. Thereís enough flavor here to keep it interesting and light enough to have a couple.
