COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This deep colored American Brown Ale is often requested and one of our personal favorites. Many a weekend was spent perfecting this one. Brewed with 2 - row pale and 5 specialty malts, its malty in both flavor and smell. A heap of Cascade and Willamette add to balance this easy drinking ale. Hole up, have a few, and tell us what you think. We’re bettings it’s the best American Brown Ale you’ll ever have.

This may just be me, but I think this brew is terribly underscored. As a B’ham native it has always been my favorite GPBC product. Easy to find around the local area and a decent price. However, if you like your ales on the citrus or hoppy side, this beer is probably not for you. Nonetheless, give it a try. It is certainly unique for a brown ale.

This is a pretty solid brown ale. Hint of hops with a nice nutty toasted malt backbone. Mild dark chocolate bitterness is also present. Another fine beer from Good People...

Can in some BBQ joint in East Nashville. Bread and caramel nose. Sip adds sweet malts. Grassy aftertaste. This is going to be rough. Went for the Alabama tick and should have thought better of it.

Poured a dark brown color with aromas of malt, and light roast, some nuts as well. Flavors were earth and roast, with nice malt flavor, not overpowering but there.

12oz can from Ed5388, thanks bro-dawg-brah. Poured a lightly hazed dark chocolate brown body, with a smaller creamy beige head. Aroma is sort of meh, notes of sour milk, wet nuts, light chocolate, pencils. Medium body, sort of harsh, medium to stronger carbonation. Flavor is a bit better than the aroma, notes of older dark breads, nuts, oats, dry milk, bark.

12oz can from HBT trade. Pours a hazy Amber/brown color with a thick frothy tan head. Aroma of light fudge, chewy sweet caramel, and nuts. Taste of toasted grain, sweet caramel, nuts, light coffee notes, and hints of cocoa powder. Decent

Can. Chocolate malt and woody hay aroma. Hazy brown with moderate light tan head. Mildly sweet chocolate malt and moderately bitter herbal hay flavor. Good body. Very good brown ale.
