A - Pours a rich golden/honey color with a nice head. Generous carbonation and lacing down glass.
S - Aroma is sweet fruit, bits of sour apple, sweet malts, and the undeniable Belgian yeast.
T - Complex with a lot of flavors making appearances. Bready, sweet, sour, spicy, clove, fruity, yeast, oak, slight hop flavor. Dry finish
M - Nice mouthfeel, prickly carbonation,
D - A very enjoyable sessionable example of the Belgian Pale Ale Style. Would love to have this in a bottle conditioned presentation.

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | May 18, 2009 This beer pours golden and slightly hazy. Big, rocky head that lingers with good lacing. The smell is of strong banana and sweetbreads with a little bit of citrus. This beer does a great job of playing up the yeasty characteristics and letting everything else sing backup. Truly a delicious and unique brew. unclemattie (2446), Georgia, USA
