Full-flavored coffee and roast, with a lot of hopping. The coffee is a fresh-brewed-tasting component of the beer. Not too dark or mealy, and with a very clean finish.

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2014 Many coffee stouts are much better. Sweet with a bitter punch. Nice coffee carbonation.
Update from can. Over carbonation. Nice at 6 percent. average. doesnt seem as much coffee as just dark roast grain.

Kind of weak. Thin, watery, with flavors of coffee and roasted barley. Slightly metally.

Draft at Pine Bar. A+ visuals ... Deep, dark reddish-black, the head is big, firm and tan. The coffee aroma carries several inches and is quite distinct. On my tongue, this some exceptional stuff ... Full-up coffee character, this would go great with a meaty omelette! New Alabama favorite! (#5077, 6/25/2013)

Growler/plastic jug courtesy of blutt59. Dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma is full of chocolate, oats and roasted malt. Very nice overall. The flavor is more of the same. There is a good amount of chocolate and a hint of smoke. I also get some lactose and sugary sweetness as well as some roasted malt and oats. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Really liked this one.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with a thick tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, charred malt, coffee grounds. Flavor of sweet roasted malt, charred malt. Coffee is faint in the flavor. Decent stout but could use a little more flavor.
