Alabama i love you
aroma is coffee. deep, well roasted and slightly sweet coffee that really just kicked it into over drive for me. warming with light notes of sugary sweetness coming out. first sips coat the palate with rich coffee notes and a warm and subtle vanilla sweetness

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a pitch black beer with a small tan head. The aroma is dark coffee with some chocolate thrown into the mix. The flavor is great, excellent coffee taste.

Yum. On draft at Mellow Mushroom. Dark black pour with a tan, generous head. Overwhelming aroma of malts and coffee. Mouthfeel is almost oil thick and tastes of sugar, coffee, toffee, and hops. Finishes dry with a hoppy bite. A real treat of a beer.

12oz pour from can; darker than cola pour. Strong coffee aroma following by coffee taste initially. Hops is present throughout in a balancing, pleasing way. A great coffee stout.

One sniff and you know you are drinking a beverage made with coffee. The flavour is full and rich, without becoming overwhelming. The mouthfeel is creamy and smooth, adding to the overall impression that this is a much bigger beer than its 6% ABV would imply. Try pairing this with a good cheesecake!
Another world class beer from Good People.

Draft at Pine Bar. A+ visuals ... Deep, dark reddish-black, the head is big, firm and tan. The coffee aroma carries several inches and is quite distinct. On my tongue, this some exceptional stuff ... Full-up coffee character, this would go great with a meaty omelette! New Alabama favorite! (#5077, 6/25/2013)

Aroma is big on coffee and hops. The flavor is all coffee up front, and hop bitterness comes behind and cleans it up. Oatmeal provides a soft, luxurious mouthfeel. I really like the balance in this big, ambitious stout.

This beer is a great stout. Probably one of the first beers my wife really enjoyed. If anyone is having trouble getting someone to like craft beer this would be one of the better ones to let them try. Definately a good one.

Very good beer, strong with a nice coffee finish. Not a smooth as I was hoping, but still a very good stout on draft.

Had on tap @ J Clyde and this one is a winner.
A - Very very dark brown, just a touch under black. Poured with a nice creamed coffee head. Nice lacing down glass as consumed.
S - Very fragrant with aromas of coffee, cream, dark chocolate, and woody aroma.
T - big coffee front turning to a chocolate/dark malt middle finishing with a bittering & earthy flavoring hops finish. Complex tasting beer considering the big dominant flavors each holding their own versus the other, especially considering the relatively low ABV.
M - Nice, not overly carbonated and very smooth/creamy feel.
D - I can, and have, session this beer. Considering the complexity of this beer it’s surprisingly very drinkable.
Very good beer. If given the opportunity, I would love GPBC to brew an Imperial version as a seasonal.
