Big coffee flavors dominate early only to be wiped out by an enormous about of Willamette hop flavors. One of GPBCís most requested beers. Complex and full of flavor yet amazingly sessionable. Brewed with coffee from Primavera Coffee Roasters here in Birmingham, AL.

From notes. On tap at Bellís Funvitational on September 12. The pour is dark brown with hints of ruby and a large light tan colored head, leaving some decent lace. The aroma is all coffee and light roast. There is a little metallic sweetness that comes through on the back end. The flavor mimics it with a bitter coffee and light roast. There isnít a whole lot else happening here. The mouth feel thin and slick with a quick fall off. This thing is way too over carbonated. The finish is abrasive and harsh with a lingeringly metallic coffee out the back end. Not too great.

UPDATED: SEP 14, 2015 Sample at Funvitational. Aroma is coffee, lactose, sweet malt. Appearance is dark brown, light brown head. Taste is coffee, not much else. Mouthfeel is harsh, too much carbonation. Overall, it has a great flavor but the mouthfeel is overwhelming.

Pours opaque coffee brown with a very thick and rather persistent tan head. Roast malt aroma has definite notes of quality coffee, can well as smoky and molasses undertones. Flavor has bold strokes of smoky roast malt, coffee, and molasses. An excellent companion to peanut butter cups. ;) mouthfeel has good body and fair fizz. Be good, grab a can!

Can. The look is dark, has a tan head, black in color. The smell is coffee, malt, roast, oatmeal, nice. The taste is a little too acrid, malt, roast, coffee. Nice smell the taste needs to be smoother.

12oz pour from can; darker than cola pour. Strong coffee aroma following by coffee taste initially. Hops is present throughout in a balancing, pleasing way. A great coffee stout.

Can. Pours a dark brown with an off-white head. Nose is coffee with a bit of roast, earth, and hints of bitterness. Flavor is similar with dry coffee and roast in the front and earthy bitterness in the finish. Light to medium bodied stout. Interesting.
