2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 brentfeesh (1191) - Gadsden, Alabama, USA - DEC 3, 2010
Hazy amber Orange pour, minimal head. The aroma is somehow at the same time zippy rye and musty grain mixed with yeast. Spicy flavor from the rye I assume a bit of fall malt sweetness mixed with musty grain. Med body, musty mouthfeel. Not bad just not my thing.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 rlaw (814) - Alabama, USA - NOV 19, 2010
Draft. Pours a slightly cloudy amber with a small off white head. Aroma and flavor are slightly sour, with some spice, and a rye tang. Medium body. Nice departure from the usual, but not my thing.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Gustav1996 (333) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - NOV 16, 2010
Growler. Poured a (almost) opaque brownish amber with a medium tan head. Aroma: sour malt, fruit, grain. Taste: sour-ish malt, mild sweetness and earthy at the start, then turns to a big sour milk, grape fruit maybe, grain/bread. Finish is short with lingering malt and grain. Medium to thin body, a little dry. Overall: too odd of a taste for me to enjoy that much on it’s on (may come off better with a meal). However, I am glad I tried it.
Note: this beer is also called Dirt Dauber.

Probably my favorite offering from Good People. Cloudy orange/brown pour with a thick white head. Aroma is slightly sour malt with a whiff of grain. Flavor is tart malt with a pleasing sourness. A bit of rye in there, too. A dry finish. very nice on the palate, smooth and full. Feels like a cask ale. Highly enjoyable.
