COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Copper in color with herbal and earthy hops being most prevalent. Light caramel flavors balance out this unique ale. Hop lovers will enjoy this unfiltered, dry-hopped IPA.

Hazy copper pour with a rocky, off-white head. The nose has earthy hops with some mild pine. The medium body has an oily texture with average carbonation. The taste begins mildly bitter with a caramel backbone and finishes a little more bitter.

A really good IPA that surprises considering it comes from a small brewery located in Birmingham, Alabama of all places.

Sampled at an esbls tasting. Hazy golden. Pale malts and gentle floral hops are smelled. The hops are a little more complex in the flavor but othetwise matches the aroma. It finishes sour. Not great.

Can gifted by drabmuh. Thanks Matt! The beer is orange / amber hued. with a thick, cumulus cloud head. The head has lasting retention and coats the pint glass in lacing. The aroma brings pine and hops, with a bit of malt, earth, and alcohol as well. The flavor is pretty decent, and fairly balanced between hops and malts, with hops slightly in the lead. Plenty of pine in there as well, with a lasting piny bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. I do wish the beer was a bit bolder in terms of pine, floral, and/or citrus flavors, with less of a malt bill. The feel is medium bodied, and more robust than is customary for a 6% IPA. Carbonation level is fine. Overall, a solid brew, but nothing extraordinary. Serving type: can Reviewed on: 04-19-2011

Very enticing beer with an SRM of appx. 12-16, clean slightly off white head with a smooth not quite creamy, not quite rocky texture. I picked up slight citrus hints in the nose backed up by earth, caramel. Hoppy citrusy-ness, slightly grapefruit like, not very malty, but did get a little bit of caramel, toasty earthness, followed up by the bitterness although not as much as i expected. Balance is slightly off. Good, but not very original IPA.

12 oz can from Shig. Hazy golden orange with a foamy beige head and sediment. Aroma of cracker malt, oranges, caramel and herbal tea. Mild malty flavor with an abrasive hop bitterness. Medium body with average carbonation and a bit thin. Not a great beer but it’s from Alabama.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2012 Nice hoppy IPA. It really comes through well. Has some earthy undertones to it. A nice session beer.

Picked this up in Alabama last time I drove through the state. Comes in a can, pours a cloudy orange color. Aroma was floral/cirtusy, but the taste was very hoppy.

Thanks to Seymour for this one. Pours amber with an off-white head. The aroma has cream, toasted malt, caramel, tropical notes and off-fruitiness. Medium body with mild carbonation. The flavor starts tinny and thin with dry malt, cream and hardly a note of hops. The finish is very metallic and minerally. Probably old, but no date could be found on the can.

Courtesy of markwise. Thanks Mark. 12oz can pours clear copper with near frothy tall light tan head. The aroma delivers earthy malts, some roasted malts and some resiny hops that have a floral component to them. The taste has a nice level of bitter to resiny hops as well as a touch of soapiness. The hops surface in the form of resiny pine and bitter floral hops. The hops and malts don’t come together all that great but it certainly attains a decent level of hop bitterness, so there’s that.
