3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sample at a tasting at IlliniSmitty’s house. I expected a lot from a brewer that had such a great showing at the East Nashville Beer festival, but this was pretty bad. almost like a pilsner, this was very light, crisp, and very mild on the bitterness. Nearly clear, fizzy light yellow color.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap. Pours hazy orange with an average, fizzy white head, medium retention with fair lacing. Aroma is average malt (toast, caramel), heavy hops (floral, citrus, pine), and average esters (apple/pear). Flavor is medium malt with heavy hops and tropical fruit. Medium body and carbonation, low warmth and a dry finish.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can courtesy of my man Gilly...thanks! Pours a clear amber brown with minimal head. Smells sweet, almost floral....some toffee, maybe some berries. Bitterness fades as the beer sits out for a bit. I taste perhaps some cherry in it as well. I like it, although it’s sweeter than I was expecting.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thanks to blutt59 for sharing this can.
The beer pours an orange color with a white head. The aroma is strong and is made up of bready malt with some orange citrus notes. The flavor is more of the same. I get a lot of bitter oranges with some grass and pine notes mixed in. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Jzzbassman sets a brutha up!!! My country will be much more filled because of him. I wish I could score a canned IPA like this one on a regular basis. Hazy rich amber with a big fluffy white head. Nose and mouthfull are the same. Warm rich hops with a bit of alcohol sharpness. Not overpowering in any facet, but completely drinkable. Nice can to get in the mail.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Medium sized offwhite head with good retention and plenty of sticky sagging lace. lightly hazy amber orange color. Nose is soft with citrus and earthy notes, lightly spicey. Body is almost medium, soft carbonation, light resin, lightly oily. Nice citrusy hop flavors, some leafiness and mild malts. Bitterness could be a bit more but thats just me. Otherwise fairly balanced. Light fruitiness with a lasting finish. Props to Monte for the rate and a another state! Thanks bro!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
12-oz can. Thanks, Monte! Pretty cool to hit that 50th state and a music milestone with the same beer. Appreciate it, man. And this is a good one. Pours a hazy slightly burnished light toffeeish amber, almost kind of wort-y looking in the glass...save for the heaps of carbonation and nice dense rocky head. Tons of drippy lace coming down the sides of the glass. Forward fruity nose, mostly peach and pineapple with a bit of caramel. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toast, caramel, pineapple, and, mainly, peach on the mid-palate. A well-made IPA with a fairly familiar flavor profile, but executed without noticeable flaws. The finish showcases nice oily peach notes in the hops, with just enough piney resin to ensure that crispness you look for. A solid and successful thirst quencher that could easily become a regular six-pack...provided you live in the right part of the country. Until I get tickets to a Tide or Tiger game, I’ll just have to reminisce about this can. Good stuff.
