This classic American Pale Ale is is floral to the nose and flavorful to the mouth. 2 - row, 5 specialty malts, and just the slap right amount of Cascade hops makes our pale ale just a shade short of perfect. Grab some and tell us what you think. Surely to be one of your new favorites.

A dark orange with a pretty thin head that disappears quickly. Aroma is light and somewhat sweet...not to hoppy, and even a dash of sourness mixed in...OK for an APA. Flavor is some burnt malts, and a whole lot of bitterness, without much of a hop profile coming through otherwise...maybe a hint of the Cascade hops.....concur with others that this is a bit confusing for the style.

Draft at 5 points. Pours a clear yellow with a decent light hop nose. Sweet corn and floral hop flavor. Not really my cup of tea, but not awful.

On tap. Found some old notes. Poured a clear copper color with a one finger off white head. The aroma was faint floral, along with some malty notes. The flavor was sweet malt with an earthy bitter finish. I enjoy trying beer from some of these small craft breweries. This one was decent.

On tap. Amber pour with a thick, fluffy white head. Nice lacing. Hoppy nose and a tangy, soapy hop flavor. A touch of yeast over a soft malt backbone. Medium bodied. Nice.

Pours light orange with thin white head. Aroma is pears, and stale beer. Taste is grainy with minimal bitterness. Thin body. Not a fan of this one.

A dark orange apperance with a moderate white head. The aroma contains some grapefruit, perfume, and malty notes. The flavor is rather bitter with a ton of citrus showing. You cant definitley tell they used Cascades with the strong grapefruit presence. Also a hint of caramel shows in this. A nice APA.

Sampled at the 2008 Music City Brewers Fest. Orange with a creamy white head. Citrus hops in the aroma with a caramel background. The flavor is a little grainy with light citrus. Light body and a medium bitterness. Dry, quick to finish. Decent.

Amber orange pour with a light white head and lace. Excellent finishing bitter. Good carbonation but a tiny bit thin. Really decent offering.

On tap at 5-Points grill. Good looking clear orange brew with a wispy head. Lots of butterscotch in the nose that really distracts from what might be a clean bitter malt aroma. Flavor is quite bitter with spicy hops. The grain body, however, is overwhelmed by the buttery notes that just dominate this brew. Medium body, dryish mouth feel. Again, I’ll give them another go around in a month or two. Keep at it Good People, we need you in B’Ham.
