3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Shag (2283) - Chattanooga, USA - OCT 21, 2008
A dark orange apperance with a moderate white head. The aroma contains some grapefruit, perfume, and malty notes. The flavor is rather bitter with a ton of citrus showing. You cant definitley tell they used Cascades with the strong grapefruit presence. Also a hint of caramel shows in this. A nice APA.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 IRBent (6) - - APR 29, 2012 does not count
Cask version that had been dry hopped, on tap at J Clyde.
Golden amber with citrus and hop smell. Very nice despite being on the hopsy side of my taste preference.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Aurelius (3146) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - APR 10, 2012
Misty golden ale, decent head that quickly turns into a film. Soft, sweet aroma. Light caramel. Dry, pretty bitter, though the hops are a bit non-descript. Not fruity. Crisp finish, good carbo, slightly light-bodied. Almost comes off as kolsch. Taproom, BABC.

Draft at the brewery. Orange with a white head. Hoppy nose. Taste is citrus and a bit sweet.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 blipp (3920) - Newark, New Jersey, USA - JAN 10, 2012
Draft. Pours orange with a white head. Light floral hoppy aroma with some sweet and grainy malts. The flavor has light floral hops, a hint of citrus, pale grainy malts, and a light malty sweetness. Pretty good.
3.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Itzjerm (279) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - NOV 20, 2011
Aroma really kills this beer. It has none... a good pale ale should. Other than that it is a mild pale ale... easy to drink
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 jrob21 (1803) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - SEP 2, 2011
Sample at Music City. Yes I turned around and got right back in line so I could make it through all of these guys’ beers. Pour is clear dark yellow almost orange color. Grassy hop aroma with an herbal somewhat spice finish.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 obguthr (2578) - Poquoson, Virginia, USA - AUG 9, 2011
Honey, dandelion, and barley malt bouquet. Clear amber, medium head, good lacing. Dandelion flavor, sufficiently bitter, with a grassier end. Perhaps a touch too dry, but the malt and hop balance is good.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Gustav1996 (333) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - JUL 16, 2010
UPDATED: DEC 11, 2010 Draft sample. Orange/copper in color with a medium off-white head. Aroma: mild citrus hops & malt. Taste: mild citrus hops, malt, maybe some pine... all a little watered down. Light body, not much depth. Overall: average... but, to be fair, I am not really a fan of this style of beer.
Re-rate: I had a new batch of this last night - on tap, poured in a mason jar. Much, much better this time: Poured a dense, cloudy orange/ gold with a medium off-white head. Aroma: citrus, hops, malt. Taste carried out the aroma - still a little watery but for a Pale Ale not so much. This batch had some depth to it. Finally found a Pale Ale I can drink!
Original rate: 3.1
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 theaudist (46) - Alabama, USA - JUN 9, 2010
Pours a medium off yellow with a small frothy head. Flavor is like a watered down Hitch Hiker IPA. Taste is also watery IPA-esque. A mediocre and boring beer.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20 rlaw (814) - Alabama, USA - FEB 20, 2010
Bottle. Clear orangey golden with a medium white head. Aroma and flavor both really struck me as more appropriate for an IPA: only mildly malty and completely overwhelmed by the hops. And the hops were oddly unflavorful, just bitter. Very unbalanced. Medium body. Dry finish. Not to my liking, and not what I’d call an APA. In fact, I rated this like a so-so IPA, but marked down the overall for so poorly representing the style. I’ll try again another day, if for no other reason that I’m so desperate to support my local brewer.
