COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A big, joyous celebration of all things hoppy (5 different varities). Large flavors and aroma of pine, citrus, flowers, spice, pineapple, and grassiness complimented with a touch of biscuit and caramel backbone. Our most requested beer.

Enjoying at leisure in Mellow Mushroom, Birmingham Alabama. Good local representation of one of my favorite styles. Doesn’t blow the mind in any way more than a solid showing, which is to be respected.

Big aromas of hop, with black pepper, lavender, pine and bitter melon. Not cloying or dry, very nimble and drinkable on the palate. Malts are present in an industrious capacity, and the light cereal gives just enough structure to show off the rest of the beer. Delightful DIPA.

Yellow pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma of perfumy hops and sweet caramel malt. Flavor is light sweet malt, paper, floral hops. A tad thin and fizzy but a good beer.

Taproom poured amber with white head good lacing. Good citrus and cereal aroma. Good hop flavor of citrus. A little grassy in a very good way. Slight malt sweetness. Great bitterness.

Pours a deep golden color with a thin white head and decent retention. Very deep golden yellow hue on this. Looks beautiful. Smells of piney hops and bitter esters, but with a malty profile as well. Taste follows the nose as you get the astringent hops at the front but it fades into the malty backbone in the finish. Thick, chewy body. Very well balanced beer. The hop profile balance perfectly with the malty sweetness and the body is almost as thick as a stout. I love it. It's a very smooth DIPA. By far Good People's best brew. Snake Handler is up there with some of the best DIPAs in the world. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. can (from notes). Pours a clear amber color with a small off white head. The aroma has grapefruit citrus, pine and floral hops with some moderately sweet caramel malts and light toast. The flavor is well balanced with smooth caramel malts and the grapefruit, citrus, pine and floral hops from the nose. The one I had was lightly carbonated.

This is an excellent brew. However, while it’s a great product from GPBC I also believe it is their most overrated. I had heard all the buzz for nearly 6 months before actually trying it (not the easiest to find in cans, even in downtown B’ham). No question it was great, but I do not think it deserves all the hype it gets.

12oz can. Pours a clear copper orange color with a small white head. Aroma is nice and citrusy, grapefruit, pine, and some maltiness. Taste is big and hoppy. Plenty of citrus flavor, piney and resinous, with a light caramel sweetness. One of my favorite DIPA!

12 oz can courtesy of Monte. Thanks. Pours a cloudy orange-copper color with a small white head that has fair retention. The aroma is medium-strong with grapefruit, pine and some salty sweat. The taste features grapefruit, pineapple, a bit of pine, caramel and some biscuit. The palate is smooth and silky with lively carbonation. The finish is medium in duration with some lingering harsh bitterness. Overall: Very tasty DIPA. Good job good people.
