COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A big, joyous celebration of all things hoppy (5 different varities). Large flavors and aroma of pine, citrus, flowers, spice, pineapple, and grassiness complimented with a touch of biscuit and caramel backbone. Our most requested beer.

12oz can. Pours a clear copper orange color with a small white head. Aroma is nice and citrusy, grapefruit, pine, and some maltiness. Taste is big and hoppy. Plenty of citrus flavor, piney and resinous, with a light caramel sweetness. One of my favorite DIPA!

12 oz can courtesy of Monte. Thanks. Pours a cloudy orange-copper color with a small white head that has fair retention. The aroma is medium-strong with grapefruit, pine and some salty sweat. The taste features grapefruit, pineapple, a bit of pine, caramel and some biscuit. The palate is smooth and silky with lively carbonation. The finish is medium in duration with some lingering harsh bitterness. Overall: Very tasty DIPA. Good job good people.

Good citrus notes, but balanced and smooth. Served in cans and on tap. Perfect with seafood or something spicy

Tap. Pours clear amber, small off white head, great lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, pine, nice but not strong. Flavor is the same, light sweet, strong bitter. Medium body, oily mouthfeel. Nice, a bit too bitter?

Dang, hey wow, thanks for the awesome beer, Birmingham. Served on draft at the J. Clyde there. I declined the pint itís usually served in (9.3%!) and opted for a 10oz pour. Nose is lovely citrus, pineapple, and grass. Some mango and apricot. Tastes a bit sweet, but still great. Wonderful recommendation from my bartender, Linc.

Aaaahhh... a gazillion down today and finally an IPA! Itís about time. This will certainly seem more refreshing than under normal conditions. It has a pale golden color with a white head. Looks great... The aroma is mostly of bready malts, with a slightly citrus hop aroma. It smells cozy... smooth... classy. Grrrowl! In the mouth, itís as thick and doughy as in the aroma, with a really great, fresh, dry-hopped finish. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Smooth, and great.

Thanks to the ever generous drabmuh for the gift. The beer is pretty hazy and appears sunburst orange colored with a gargantuan crafted white head. Excellent head retention with ample lacing plastering the walls of the pint glass. The aroma is a combo of sweet, fruity malts and resiny pine, with a slight leaning toward pine. Good flavor. Balanced for sure. This is not a west coast hop bomb, but rather, a well crafted and balanced beer. Alcohol presence is well masked. The finish brings a touch of bitterness that is mitigated by caramel malts and a mild fruit character. The feel is medium bodied with appropriate carbonation. Not particularly aggressive in either the hop or malt domain, but again, a balance of the two. A blue collar DIPA. Overall, a solid offering. While not among the greats of a highly competitive style, this is an enjoyable and drinkable brew. Serving type: can Reviewed on: 03-20-2012

Poured and orange brown with off white head. The nose was all hops. There is a nice blend of hops used and the malts pull this beer together nicely. This beer is very worth seeking out.

12 oz. bottle served in a Founders snifter. Huge thanks to Holland (Eric) for hitting this obscure want! A: Pours a solid amber color with a little chilled haze to the body. A mild yellow head roughly one finger in height forms on the pour and dissipates to a thin collar. S: Smells of resin, mild pine and sweet vine fruits fill the glass. There is a subtle honey sweetness in there as well with light flowery notes. A sweet doughy malt smell is present as well. T: The flavor resides on the maltier side of things with a bready and honey flavor, but the hops really pop up mid palate with a resin and bitter pine flavor. There is a slight alcohol twinge, but it is short lived. The finish is again sweet with a floral quality. M: Medium bodied with a semi-sticky mouthfeel. The carbonation is medium, but bordering on the lower end of that. O: This was a very balanced and overall delicious DIPA. I feel like the nose was a little better and more complex than the taste, but it didnít stray to far from that. My first beer from this brewery and Iím excited to try more. Bring on the Fatso! Candied fruit aromas. Candied fruit flavors. Finishes with a touch of bitterness. Overall a pretty tasty IPA. Thanks to Tim W for sharing!
