A big, joyous celebration of all things hoppy (5 different varities). Large flavors and aroma of pine, citrus, flowers, spice, pineapple, and grassiness complimented with a touch of biscuit and caramel backbone. Our most requested beer.

Growler, pours copper color with a large fluffy white head. Nose is grapefruit, rich honey, citrus, very nice! Perfect carbonation for a DIPA. This is a fantastic beer. I’ve had it in a can and on tap...both are great!

Poured from a can. Hazy orange with a big white head. Lots of lacing. Aroma is a little off. Old can? Taste is OK, not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Really good beer, huge citrusy notes, dry, nice bitterness, diamond in the rough.

Tap at the brewery. Pours clear amber with a medium, frothy white head, short retention with good lacing. Aroma is biscuit and honey malt, citrus, pine, and resin hops, pear esters, papaya and mango. Flavor is heavy hops and bitterness, light malt and fruity esters with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

FROM NOTES: august 12, ’12. From a 12 ounce can into a shaker pint. A: Melon and citrus hop notes, sweet caramel malt, and a touch of bread. A: Pours a deep orangish color with a huge dirty white cap and great lacing. T: VERY hop forward, with the same fruitiness in the nose, though tremendously more intense. Malts with strong caramel and a strong biscuity vibe. Light sugary flavor. Moderate bitterness. P: Medium body and medium carbonation. O: Hard to believe this is a 9% beer. Very drinkable for such a big and complex beer.

Orangy amber in color with lots or whitish creamy head. Great lacing and persistent head. Aroma is caramel and some hoP bitterness. Taste is about the same with some orangey citrus. Medium body, high carbonation. Good brew. I’d drink this again, but not go out if my way for it.

Enjoying at leisure in Mellow Mushroom, Birmingham Alabama. Good local representation of one of my favorite styles. Doesn’t blow the mind in any way more than a solid showing, which is to be respected.

Big aromas of hop, with black pepper, lavender, pine and bitter melon. Not cloying or dry, very nimble and drinkable on the palate. Malts are present in an industrious capacity, and the light cereal gives just enough structure to show off the rest of the beer. Delightful DIPA.

Yellow pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma of perfumy hops and sweet caramel malt. Flavor is light sweet malt, paper, floral hops. A tad thin and fizzy but a good beer.
