COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A big, joyous celebration of all things hoppy (5 different varities). Large flavors and aroma of pine, citrus, flowers, spice, pineapple, and grassiness complimented with a touch of biscuit and caramel backbone. Our most requested beer.

Growler from Liquor Express. Poured a hazy orange with a creamy off-white head that left good lacing. Floral aroma with a caramel backing. The flavor was flipped with mainly caramel and floral backing. Medium body, creamy and a mild bitterness.

Growler from Liquor Express, Huntsville. Brown with slight red tone and almost clear. two finger head that laces the glass. Nose was slightly sour with all the pine/citrus one would expect for an IIPA. Alcohol present all the way through with ample bitterness to counter the sweetness. Very nice, really. Only reason I’m not giving it higher than 4 is the fruit doesn’t really push through the bitterness and alcohol...very good but not great.

LCBS 2010. Thanks JW. Goldish pour, nice white head. Grapefruit peel in the nose all the way. Flavor has the grapefruit peel, some malty sweetness. Damn good beer.

Had the opportunity to try this great double ipa from a growler. Great citrus nose on this thing, total grapefruit for sure. Has good mouth feel and malt backing. But Im here for the hops and this baby delivers, great double ipa only wish I could get this on tap somewhere local.

Growler shared by Jim I believe, thanks! Poured a hazy yellow gold with a white head that lasted throughout the beer. Aroma was full of bitter pine with a slight grain backbone. Flavor was very similar with bitter pine throughout and a slight grain backbone.

UPDATED: OCT 25, 2010 Growler from Highland Package Store. Poured a cloudy, orange/red with very thin off-white head (cloudiness turns to almost clear as it settles down). Aroma: Pine, hoppy, sweet malts citrus. Taste: Pine, citrus, very hoppy, caramel malt, maybe some spice. Medium body, sticky mouthfeel, long finish with a good bite. Good depth & balance. Overall a very good DIPA. Very happy as this is a local brewery. Also, when I bought this it was listed as having a 8.5 abv (abv not listed in RB description).

Growler from Dee’s Package. Pours a rich orange and a white rocky head. Aroma was overpoweringly tart, couldn’t really tell what I was smelling except I knew it was an IPA. Taste is very strong, dry hops, loads of citrus, and a lot of malt. Finished surprisingly smooth. Packs a real punch of flavor, and a really good brew overall.

Good People is shaping up to be a really good brewery, and snake handler is no exception. It is a malt forward DIPA. The aroma is malt and grapefruit. The grapefruit is very forward. This is a pretty well balanced DIPA. It’s clear that the hop additions are later, and favor less bitter varieties. Little thin on the mouthfeel but very nice.
