Growler shared by Jim I believe, thanks! Poured a hazy yellow gold with a white head that lasted throughout the beer. Aroma was full of bitter pine with a slight grain backbone. Flavor was very similar with bitter pine throughout and a slight grain backbone.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: OCT 25, 2010 Growler from Highland Package Store. Poured a cloudy, orange/red with very thin off-white head (cloudiness turns to almost clear as it settles down). Aroma: Pine, hoppy, sweet malts citrus. Taste: Pine, citrus, very hoppy, caramel malt, maybe some spice. Medium body, sticky mouthfeel, long finish with a good bite. Good depth & balance. Overall a very good DIPA. Very happy as this is a local brewery. Also, when I bought this it was listed as having a 8.5 abv (abv not listed in RB description).

Growler from Deeís Package. Pours a rich orange and a white rocky head. Aroma was overpoweringly tart, couldnít really tell what I was smelling except I knew it was an IPA. Taste is very strong, dry hops, loads of citrus, and a lot of malt. Finished surprisingly smooth. Packs a real punch of flavor, and a really good brew overall.

Good People is shaping up to be a really good brewery, and snake handler is no exception. It is a malt forward DIPA. The aroma is malt and grapefruit. The grapefruit is very forward. This is a pretty well balanced DIPA. Itís clear that the hop additions are later, and favor less bitter varieties. Little thin on the mouthfeel but very nice.

Draft. Pours a hazy dark amber. Big malt backbone in both the aroma and flavor. Needs it to stand up to the hops. Very floral, piney in the aroma; loads of grapefruit and bitterness in the flavor. A little bit of pleasant sourness lurking in there as well.

Draught at the j Clyde. Dark amber pour with a thick, sudsy offwhite head and good lacing. Aromas of piney And bittering hops. Up front there is balanced maltiness that quickly leads to grapefruit hops with a floral note. There is also a pleasent sour quality. There is a long, back-of-the-tongue bitterness to finish. Smooth mouthfeel, although it could use a little more carbonation. One of my favorite Good People offerings.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours out a slightly hazy copper-amber with an average head - rather appealing. Aroma is strongly hoppy and has a good evergreen component, promising a worthy IPA. Flavor matches the aroma, being richly hoppy, slightly evergreen and just a little bit fruity. Texture is lively and fizzy. Recommended to all IPA fans.

Hazy orange, frothy beige head sticks. Aroma of mild citrus. Taste is grapefruit and pine but not spectacular.
