Thanks to Seymour for this one. Pours amber with a light haze and a large beige head. The aroma has funk, green onions, cream and caramel malt - decent aroma. Full body that’s a bit rough with fairly sharp carbonation. The taste starts with lots of woody cardboard and some dry malt. The finish is very woody and earthy. Seems quite old, but there is no date on the can.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can… Murky amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. Fantastic retention. The bouquet furnishes notes of caramel, toffee and citrusy, spicy, earthy hops. Full-bodied and silky with gentle carbonation. The flavor is a tea biscuit and caramel foundation that is totally overwhelmed by medium to heavy, grassy hop bitterness. Lengthy, bitter finish. Kudos to biggsbowler for sharing!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thanks, brentfeesh. Tasted from cool 12oz can into tulip glass. It poured a pretty amber color but no head whatsoever. However, I received this beer in trade, and the can arrived unopened but a little sticky and wet. Perhaps the seal broke just enough to leak the carbonation. Oh well. Nice perfumey hops aroma, bread, brown sugar, light alcohol but not hot or fusel like you might expect from 9.3% ABV, faint fruity ale yeast esters. Hoppy flavor but matched by a hefty caramel malt sweetness. True-to-style Imperial IPA. A much nicer balance than their standard IPA, interestingly.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Thanks Brentfeesh (by way of Seymour). Caramel smell. Light brown. Very thin head. Hoppy.....but less hoppy than Good People’s single IPA. Pretty high alcohol that is well concealed. Spicy.

S: Grapefruit, caramel malt and light booze
T: Big body and boozey with a malt forward presence, hops present grapefruit, grass and orange peel with a light dash of pineapple. Finishes w/ a medium bitterness and booziness

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Chemical, kat-whizzy aroma. Misty apricot gold, big fluffy head. Dense body, smooth mouthfeel. Medium light sweetness, a little briny, fairly well balanced overall and warming. 10% Abv is masked well. Grassy note in the long bitter finish. Will make you cross-eyed on an empty stomach.

Refrigerated can compliments of joepeesie poured into a shaker. Pours hazy golden with small white head. Good lacing, medium body, resinous texture, and nice pine aroma. Taste is some grapefruit, lots of pine, and finishes bitter hops.

Big thanks to drabmuh for the can. Served in a Mikasa tulip.
Pours a clear copper color with a touch of an amber hue. Initial head is rocky and large with great retention and loads of lacing on the way down. Thin cap and collar throughout.
The nose carries some nice initial tropical notes with plenty of backing malt. Light caramel and a fairly-heavy level of breadiness. The flavor pushes through a good dose of sweetness along with some light heat. Lots of bread and malt. CItrus and other fruit notes behind that. Medium body with chewiness. Moderate booze and a semi-dry finish.
Quite a bit too malty for my tastes, though I enjoy the hop notes that are present.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Big Head, cloudy light amber, sweet biting bitterness, cottony mouthfeel. It’s more of a 1.5 rather than a double, the hoppiness is strong, but it’s not offensive. Pretty easy drinking beer. Alcohol does not taste like 9.3
