COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A big, joyous celebration of all things hoppy (5 different varities). Large flavors and aroma of pine, citrus, flowers, spice, pineapple, and grassiness complimented with a touch of biscuit and caramel backbone. Our most requested beer.

Good citrus notes, but balanced and smooth. Served in cans and on tap. Perfect with seafood or something spicy

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2012 One of my favorites. Very hoppy and quite bitter. A little citrus on the nose. Lots of hops up front. All bitter at the back.

Pours a deep golden color with a thin white head and decent retention. Very deep golden yellow hue on this. Looks beautiful. Smells of piney hops and bitter esters, but with a malty profile as well. Taste follows the nose as you get the astringent hops at the front but it fades into the malty backbone in the finish. Thick, chewy body. Very well balanced beer. The hop profile balance perfectly with the malty sweetness and the body is almost as thick as a stout. I love it. It's a very smooth DIPA. By far Good People's best brew. Snake Handler is up there with some of the best DIPAs in the world. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at the J Clyde A - Nice hazy rusty orange hue with a nice think head. Sufficient carbonation and sticky lace down the side of the glass. Looks like an IPA. Lacing looks as it’s dripping with hop oil. S - A touch of sweetness following by intense hop aroma. Pine, pungent, lemon zest, orange, spice....lost of aromas. T - Very good. A touch of caramel sweetness making an appearance but being dominated by hop flavor. Nice bitterness followed by flavors of pine, herbal hops, pungent, lemon zest, orange, simcoe, grapefruit ending in a dry finish. M - Nothing thin about this beer but not too think to take away from being refreshing. Has a certain slickness to it which is very nice. D = Hard to believe this is a 9% beer. Very drinkable for such a beer and complex beer.

Pours out a slightly hazy copper-amber with an average head - rather appealing. Aroma is strongly hoppy and has a good evergreen component, promising a worthy IPA. Flavor matches the aroma, being richly hoppy, slightly evergreen and just a little bit fruity. Texture is lively and fizzy. Recommended to all IPA fans.

UPDATED: OCT 25, 2010 Growler from Highland Package Store. Poured a cloudy, orange/red with very thin off-white head (cloudiness turns to almost clear as it settles down). Aroma: Pine, hoppy, sweet malts citrus. Taste: Pine, citrus, very hoppy, caramel malt, maybe some spice. Medium body, sticky mouthfeel, long finish with a good bite. Good depth & balance. Overall a very good DIPA. Very happy as this is a local brewery. Also, when I bought this it was listed as having a 8.5 abv (abv not listed in RB description).

LCBS 2010. Thanks JW. Goldish pour, nice white head. Grapefruit peel in the nose all the way. Flavor has the grapefruit peel, some malty sweetness. Damn good beer.

A few ounces poured into a glass to assess appearance, but the later enjoyed out of the can. Dark amber.copper color, mostly clear with a light tan head. Aroma is big with pine, resins, slight sweet citrus fruits, caramel malts and a tinge of alcohol. Taste is equally piney and resinous, again with accents of sweet citrus fruits. There’s a rich malt backbone and the alcohol doesn’t quite hide itself on the taste...but instead of lessening the drinkability of it, the alcohol complements this DIPA well. Cream full body, rich and filling. This is a fantastic DIPA.
