4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 TheRealMGD (540) - Lakewood, Washington, USA - DEC 29, 2012
Bomber from PD, tap at E9 and PW in the past. Slightlty hazy, gold-orange pour with a medium white bead leaving moderate lace. Nose is peaches, oranges and pine. Medium body and fine carbonation with a nice hoppy oiliness that lends a slickness. Pine, biscuit, oranges and ganja. Finish is medium length, with a continued tropical fruit sweetness and moderate hop bitterness. Hops are prominent in this one, but not at the expense of a firm malt underbody that supports and even peeks through. Love this IPA and will watch for more good things from Good Life.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 bhensonb (8981) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 7, 2012
Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours slightly hazy amber with a beige head. Aroma is incredibly hoppy. Lots of sweet fruit and citrus. Maybe a little pine. Med + body. Flavor is earthy, fruity, citrus, pine. It’s sufficiently NW to really grab the tongue sides. Finishes earthy and bitter. Just excellent.

Pine and resin dominate the aroma and flavor. Reminds me of Stone IPA. Body is a little too thin and quite effervescent. Pretty good IPA.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 AWISLguy (665) - Wisconsin, USA - NOV 17, 2012
On tap at Brouwer’s Cafe. Pours orangey amber with a white head - terrific spoty lacing. Aroma has sweet toffee, pine, resin. Taste is sweet caramel, resin and citrus. Some pine. A bit rough. Becomes more and more bitter throughout the glass. Finishes bitter with hints of sweet. Better than non hoppy brews, but rough.

I really like this beer! Nice head with lots of lacing. Very hoppy nose with grapefruit and pine. Flavor is also loaded with plenty of hops but not much bitterness in the finish. Very drinkable. Very pleased this has been a regular at my neighborhood bar.

Bottle: Orangish in color, a bit hazy, large frothy white head, nice lacing. Dank hoppy aroma, and yeah, I mean dank. Somewhat of a soft earthy/soily like hop start, not too bitter, moderate sweetness. Seems oily but without being too biting. Body and mouthfeel are moderate. Lingering hops, a bit citrusy at times. Comes across as a solid example and is well made for the style.

Aroma is floral with some herbal notes and citrus. Initial hit on the palate is some booze and herbal/medicinal notes that then fade to piney bitterness with a light bready backing and finishes long and bitter. For some reason I found this somewhat unsettling.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Dogbrick (6008) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 17, 2012
Sample at the Tap House Grill in Seattle. Hazy dark amber pour with a medium fluffy ivory white head that recedes slowly. Sheet of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of floral hops, fruit and malt. Medium-bodied with a moderately bitter hops character that has floral and citrus notes, plus some bready malt in the background. The finish is hoppy with a citrusy aftertaste. Above average overall.

Draft at The Yard in Seattle. Gorgeous smooth copper orange, creamy head. Perfumey pine nose, smooth big bitter citrus. Smooth like pliny, great citrus IPA. Wonderfully put together
