Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours slightly hazy amber with a beige head. Aroma is incredibly hoppy. Lots of sweet fruit and citrus. Maybe a little pine. Med + body. Flavor is earthy, fruity, citrus, pine. It’s sufficiently NW to really grab the tongue sides. Finishes earthy and bitter. Just excellent.

Bomber poured a hazy golden amber with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, earthiness, orange zest, grapefruit, light skunkbud and light pine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, lemon zest and lighty grapefruit with a smooth dry bitter lingering lemon zest finish.

Sample at the Tap House Grill in Seattle. Hazy dark amber pour with a medium fluffy ivory white head that recedes slowly. Sheet of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of floral hops, fruit and malt. Medium-bodied with a moderately bitter hops character that has floral and citrus notes, plus some bready malt in the background. The finish is hoppy with a citrusy aftertaste. Above average overall.

In short: A dry herbal/grassy/fruity golden IPA with discreet biscuity malts. Average.
How: Bottle 22oz, consumed fresh a few weeks after purchase. Bottle sent to me by mcberko, thanks a lot Matt.
The look: Almost clear golden body topped by a medium off-white head with medium retention and leaving lots of lacings on the glass
In long: Nose is dank fruity hops with a floral component Taste has some biscuity malts with a fortune cookies flavor, lightly toasted, white grapefruits, dry green herbs, fry flower petals, sweet orange peels, dry sun dried yellowed grass, lemon zest. Sharp bitterness of medium intensity leaving with a finish that sucks the mouth dry. This is a hop-forward beer lacking depth in the malt department, dryness is more because of a lack in the malt sweetness than a high attenuation. I liked this beer because I like hoppy beers and I like dry beers¸ but objectively speaking I don’t think this is a well-made IPA. At least now I can say I’ve led a GoodLife (straight to my mouth).

22. Pours a hazy burnished dark amber with a dense and pillowy whitish head and lots of eggy lace. Mild piney nose--clean and present, but not the most forceful aromatics around. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toast, caramel, and pine on the mid palate. I’ve had this beer from 500 breweries by now, but it’s always a pleasure to drink when it’s made this well with good fresh ingredients. No revelations here, but a worthy drinker.

Bottle:   Orangish in color, a bit hazy, large frothy white head, nice lacing.   Dank hoppy aroma, and yeah, I mean dank.   Somewhat of a soft earthy/soily like hop start, not too bitter, moderate sweetness.   Seems oily but without being too biting.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Lingering hops, a bit citrusy at times.   Comes across as a solid example and is well made for the style.
