Bottle:   Orangish in color, a bit hazy, large frothy white head, nice lacing.   Dank hoppy aroma, and yeah, I mean dank.   Somewhat of a soft earthy/soily like hop start, not too bitter, moderate sweetness.   Seems oily but without being too biting.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Lingering hops, a bit citrusy at times.   Comes across as a solid example and is well made for the style.

Bomber from Hayduke. We had it together via facebook chat. The beer pours honey golden and is hazy. A fluffy off white head is nice and leaves sticky lacing. I smell pine and caramel. Pine and floral hops are tasted and they leave a long lasting dry bitterness for an after taste. But soon that after taste fades and it becomes very clean. I also taste yeast and pale malts. Fruit is tasted and it is both citrus and tropical. Despite all of the hop notes this is tilted toward sweetness and the malts are in front. This is an interesting beer. It is very tasty but also very subtle. Plenty of good stuff to satisfy the serious beer geek but not so much to put off the novice.

In short: A dry herbal/grassy/fruity golden IPA with discreet biscuity malts. Average.
How: Bottle 22oz, consumed fresh a few weeks after purchase. Bottle sent to me by mcberko, thanks a lot Matt.
The look: Almost clear golden body topped by a medium off-white head with medium retention and leaving lots of lacings on the glass
In long: Nose is dank fruity hops with a floral component Taste has some biscuity malts with a fortune cookies flavor, lightly toasted, white grapefruits, dry green herbs, fry flower petals, sweet orange peels, dry sun dried yellowed grass, lemon zest. Sharp bitterness of medium intensity leaving with a finish that sucks the mouth dry. This is a hop-forward beer lacking depth in the malt department, dryness is more because of a lack in the malt sweetness than a high attenuation. I liked this beer because I like hoppy beers and I like dry beers¸ but objectively speaking I don’t think this is a well-made IPA. At least now I can say I’ve led a GoodLife (straight to my mouth).

22oz bomber c/o Elise. Slightly hazy orange-tan. Foamy white head. Pretty solid NW IPA. Lots of hop depth. There is some nice hop depth..pine,citrus, straw, and a hint of mellow tropical fruit. Great mouthfeel, just an all around enjoyable, well-crafted IPA.

Thanks to gregwilsonstl for sharing this one. Pours hazy golden orange with an off-white head. The aroma has tropical fruits, modestly sweet malt, orange, pineapple and a bit of pine. It has a medium husky rough body with gentle abrasive carbonation. The flavor starts with pine, grapefruit zest, dry malt and mild alcohol. The finish is dry, hoppy, resiny and has lots of grapefruit zest. Really nicely made IPA.
