Can thanks to my summer secret santa. Pours a mostly clear, golden orange color with a small foamy head that lingers nicely. Interesting aroma. Overripe oranges, pine, tropical fruit, and biscuits. Tastes more sweet than bitter. Fairly juicy. Orange juice and pineapple. Some pine in the finish. Pretty nice IPA but I can’t help but think there’s too much residual sugar here. I feel like this is close to being awesome.

12 oz can, excellent, pours a hazy orange color with a nice white head and excellent lacing. Nice citrus hop aroma. A bit of ethyl acetate, but it’s not offensive, and a bit of caramel hop oxidation. Sweet and bitter flavor. Oxidation is a bit more apparent in the flavor, but the nice orange citrus taste sticks around as well. Would love to try fresher, but pretty damn solid either way.

22 oz bottle from "Lifesource" in S.Salem,Oregon $3.99 Typical orange body for an IPA but with a very large thick and bubbly creme coloured head. Fine and strong hop aromas spicy, fruity and pine like..very nice. Taste typical deep ,dank PNW style..but has an intresting creaminess just below the surface.Thats makes this less a hop monster and more approachable and even balanced. Nice palate though i think this could have used more carbonation. Odd IPA at once typical then very untypical in that the creaminess makes this so easy to gulp. I liked it though maybe on my next trip to Bend i can taste it at the source.

Draft at Standard in Portland, OR on 1 June 2013. Poured a slightly hazy amber with a thin, but dense white head. Aroma of floral hops, pine and tropical fruit. Grapefruit hop flavours with bready notes and some caramel sweetness. Nicely balanced bitter finish of hop resin and grains.
