Perfume-like in aroma, pours a hazy light amber with a thick cap of off-white foam. Aromas of Valencia orange, light pine, citrus floral, lychee, juicy-fruit gum, grenadine-like, and a candy-like sweetness, with a slight toasty aspect. Taste upfront is moderately sweet, a medium caramel sweetness, a slight malty richness which is then followed with a smooth bittering. Finishes dry, lingers bitter. Very very good.

Very nice. hoppy! deep malts goes heavy but blends like a fine wine. The malts are perfect, the hop bill is so good. Overall great, herbal/floral/clean washy malt grain wallowing in slightly sweet amazing brew

On tap at Ellensburg Pasta Co. Classic medium amber with a dense sandy cored head. Lots of grapefruit hoppiness in the aroma with a mild biscuity malt character as well. Flavor is near ideal. Big fresh citrus hops and just enough sweet light malts to compliment. Moderately bitter but so tasty. Creamy soft palate and easy on be carbonation. Very nice !

Shared with Strykzone via Facebook Chat. Pours a nearly clear amber with a beige head and decent lacing. Nose is pine and citrus hops on caramel malts. Medium plus body and a smooth clean mouthfeel. The flavor is earthy, citrus, pine, and caramel. Very good balance. Finish is a perfect bitterness. This is a very easy drinking and simply delicious beer. This is also number 4000 for strykzone. What could be better?

Orange, with a fluffy head. Lovely citrus and pine balance on the nose, and the flavor follows. Juicy, just a bit of booze, with a sharply bitter finish. This one is really, really nice - a wonderful go-to, if distribution kicks up.

I really like this beer! Nice head with lots of lacing. Very hoppy nose with grapefruit and pine. Flavor is also loaded with plenty of hops but not much bitterness in the finish. Very drinkable. Very pleased this has been a regular at my neighborhood bar. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Reviewed 3/1/13. 22 oz bottle into a nonic pint glass. A: Pours a hazy copper color. The head is a two finger offwhite shade with many of the usual characteristics in an IPA (okay retention, good texture, nice patchy lacing on the glass). Pretty standard IPA appearance. S: The hops bring both a good deal of grapefruit peel/flesh, and permutes into a piny, peppery aroma after opening up some. Caramel malts provide the backbone. Very good, especially considering it seems to be a typical "crystal malt and pine hops" IPA I’m oh-so-used to on the right coast. T: I’m really enjoying the grapefruity hops that open the palate up. As the flavor progresses, it shifts from grapefruit to bright, piny qualities on the finish and aftertaste. The malt profile helps to keep things in check without overpowering. While it doesn’t really have any standout qualities to it, the finesse and refinement of the execution is what makes this a great IPA. M: It’s thick and creamy, yet dry all at the same time. Hop resins accumulate on the palate to a very pleasant level. There’s just something about it that gives an incredibly ’bright’ feel to it. O: It’s not particularly unique, but the execution here is top-notch. The beer of the month club I got this from has been WILDLY hit-or-miss so far (emphasis on miss), so I’m finally glad to receive a really good beer from them.

From the can, bitch. Orange with a sticky white head. Nose is fruits, grapefruit, mango, peach, and some evident pines. Flavor is some caramels, bread sweetness, with a punchy bitterness. Really nice IPA with solid fruits.
