COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale Ale is brewed to be a crossroads beer between two styles of beer, the Amber Ale and the India Pale Ale (IPA). While not having the malt character of Amber Ale or the high hop profile of an IPA, Pale Ale has a balanced body and character that creates a refreshing, clean, flavorful beer.

Bomber from Brewforia. Pours hazy amber with a 3 finger creamy beige head. Aroma is primarily floral, but there are hints of citrus and pine. Can’t catch the malt. Med body. Flavor is floral and citrus - pretty strong, and after a bit there seems to be resin. Malt isn’t so roasty as I’d expect. It has a nice nose and it’s bitter. I think this is rather unusual, but it’s tasty and drinkable.

Bottle:   Deep amber, a little dirty, large frothy off-white head, nice lacing.   Soft resin and citrus peel on the nose.   Soft citrusy hops on the tongue.   Pretty simple profile.   Clean with a little bit of resiny bits on the finish.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finish is a little flat, could use some more carbonation.   Other than that, good Pale Ale.   Probably better on draught.   Will need to visit on my next trip to Bend for sure.

22. Pours a cloudy burnished medium amber with toffee colored edges. Loose sudsy whitish head with lots of drippy lace. Nice grapefruit nose with a bit of pineapple and caramel. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Grapefruit, toast, and caramel on the mid palate. Very pleasant and easy drinking APA with no apparent flaws.
