Pale Ale is brewed to be a crossroads beer between two styles of beer, the Amber Ale and the India Pale Ale (IPA). While not having the malt character of Amber Ale or the high hop profile of an IPA, Pale Ale has a balanced body and character that creates a refreshing, clean, flavorful beer.

Good for what it was. I preferred the IPA better though. Looking forward to trying more from this brewery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Two fingers of head on a clear, copper colored body. Nice aroma of spruce and pineapple. Pine taste at first, then building dry lemon bitterness to the end. Soft texture with lower carbonation and medium body. It has great aroma, and good taste and texture. As a pale ale it is pretty hoppy though.

Bomber. Appearance is a cloudy orange and copper color with a generous topping of sea foam head. Aroma has notes of pine, orange rind, caramel and bready malts. The flavor is ruby red grapefruit, tangerine and pine upfront followed by some lemon, toasted malt and spicy hops notes toward the end. The body is mildly creamy with strong carbonation and a clean, bitter finish. Definitely one of the more flavorful and balanced Pacific Northwest style APAs.

Bomber poured a clear amber with a lasting creamy amber head. Aromas of bread, earthiness, citrus and a hint of pine. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, earthiness, orange zest, light grapefruit and light pine with a crisp dry moderatly bitter lingering earthy finish.

Tap at Goodlife, Bend, 23/05/13. Lighly hazed dark amber with a thin off white head. Nose is pale malts, hopd, grass, grapefruit, light orange. Taste comprises bitter grapefruit, mineral bite, orange, hops, malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, hop bitterness in the finish. A more than decent APA!

22. Pours a cloudy burnished medium amber with toffee colored edges. Loose sudsy whitish head with lots of drippy lace. Nice grapefruit nose with a bit of pineapple and caramel. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Grapefruit, toast, and caramel on the mid palate. Very pleasant and easy drinking APA with no apparent flaws.

Really nice pale ale. Its a good combo of malt and hop. The hop is floral and grassy but nice. Not too much for the malt although its a hint sweet it works well. Sweet amber color and beautiful aroma it is a winner. I bought a bottle to bring home and its gone

Bottle. Pours hazy orange-amber with a thin off-white head. Quite a strong hop aroma, primarily pine and a little citrus, with some caramel slowly coming out as well. Flavor is upfront crystal malt, but reasonably light and crisp, well balanced by a solid C-hop presence of citrus and pine, and a briefly bitter finish. A really good 5.5% ABV pale ale.

Bomber from Hayduke. A big golden hued. The head is fluffy and light. The neer is. Hazy golden and well carbonated. A citrus fruit and caramel aroma. A second sniff brings even more citrus. The first sip brings little malts but some big citrus hops. They are nig and a bit chewy. Citrus with some pine. Bitterness is not huge but is definitely there. Grapefruit notes. This is an aggressive Pale and much more so than I find in the Midwest.
