COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
GoodLife’s winter stout that has been aged in Volcano Vineyards Syrah barrels for 12 months. Look for this beer to have a well-balanced cherry and wine character that blends exceptionally well with the dark chocolate and coffee flavor from our Pass Stout. Blended nicely with a slight French oak flavor from the barrel, this stout sits perfect with a cold winter night. 7.8% ABV.

On tap. Black with no head. Sweet earthy chocolate and wine aroma and taste with a surprisingly light body and some faint citrus and vanilla notes. Finishes slightly dry and vinuous.

Tap at Bailey’s Taproom, Portland - 07/11/12. Light black with a thin dirty coffee head that retains well. Big red wine punch on the nose, wood tones, roast malt, touch of booze in general. Tastes of dark malt, red wine, wood tones, light tarte notes, a little chocolate. Medium bodied with limited carbonation leading to a dry finish. Decent.
