COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Why name a beer Sweet As? Sweet As could be the adjective to describe a fishing hole, a ski run, a sunset glowing behind a mountain or a set of legs that happen to be walking in front of you. Sweet As means “Really Good”.

Draft - Nice perfumy citrus and some tropical fruit. Clearish gold with a rich white head. Tastes just as it smells but more muted. A bit boring but nice.

On tap at Hop ’n Headz, pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney and floral hops, soap notes, and dry biscuity malt. Flavour brings out lots of fruity, floral hops, balanced by just enough dry biscuity malt. Bright, fruity and floral. Well-made and drinkable.

Can from Liquor Collection 270115. There is a lot to like about the aroma of this beer as it is loaded with fresh fruit aromas. Slighty sweet in the mouth and not to over the top hoppy. Well balanced.

Can in Seattle. Bright yellow-gold. Thick looking. Mild fruit, sweet yeasty malt. A bit melon and banana. Alright.

Can pour at home, golden pour, hop aroma. Sweet tast with a little bite. Solid beer nothing to special.

Not a fan of APAs and this is no different. Tastes like a big name beer, not a flavorful microbrew. Nothing stood out beyond the bitterness.

Can.

Hazy maize pour, decent head. The nose is leafy, dominated by cut hay but bringing some citrus along for the ride. Flavor comes off as jumbled rather than balanced: light citrus peel, a small dose of very bitter oil, a bit of caramel, stewed corn, chalky late. Drinkable but just.

cloudy gold brown pour. Aroma peaches wheat. Tastes wheat oranges honey. Dries out a bit, but this is erring on the sweet side.

a lower alcohol and super low IBU pale ale that then surprises with a fantastic aroma and flavor of juicy aromatic hops. Very sessionable, not bitter at all, but with layers of fruit and flowers. Liked this one.

On tap at Giovanni’s in Beaverton last night. A clear, light orange with a dense, white head with good retention and nice lacing, this looks solid. The nose is fresh, fruity, bright and refreshing with light orange, mandarin and a touch of grapefruit present. A mild honey character is present too. The palate opens fresh, fruity and refreshing with a blend of not too acidic oranges, minimal vegetal hop character, a little grapefruit and some honey. Mildly watery on the mid palate, this beer is drying on the finish with a mild bitterness. Pleasantly carbonated, this is quite enjoyable. Solid stuff.
