COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Why name a beer Sweet As? Sweet As could be the adjective to describe a fishing hole, a ski run, a sunset glowing behind a mountain or a set of legs that happen to be walking in front of you. Sweet As means “Really Good”.

Serving: from can--purchased at Full Throttle Bottles. Aroma: moderate herb and grapefruit hoppy aroma. Appearance: average-sized, frothy, off-white, initial head with fair lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Cloudy, medium-amber body. Taste: lightly sour, grapefruit-like initial flavor and finish with short duration. Palate: medium body with oily texture and soft carbonation. Overall: excellent. Great aroma, interesting and complex taste, easy to drink, thirst quenching. What more could a person want from a beer?

Cloudy golden color. Smooth in character, mild malt, and with a nice citrusy hopping, a bit lemony.
Pleasant.

Quite tasty, golden ale, with decent depth for the modest 6%. Drinks like an IPA. Pine resin finish. Very drinkable. Evening poolside beer.

Can. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (caramel), lightly hoppy (apricot), with a strong note of diacetyl, other notes of plastic and taffy. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, unclean/buttery. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Massive diacetyl makes this completely undrinkable, almost nothing but butter. And from Bend of all places, for shame!

I ordered this blind from the tap handle, assuming I would getting Descender IPA. While not disappointing, I was taken aback at how light and smooth it was, very silky in texture. Grains/malt feature here, no hops to speak of. Blend of a wheat ale, Golden’s and minor lager characteristics. A nice diversion...

On tap at Millers at the Cove. Pours a clear gold with a near white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a nice citrus note with a bit of grass and a sweet grain backbone. Flavor has a bit of resin and bitter citrus up front with growing sweet citrus and sweet grains.

32 oz growler- Pours lightly hazy golden with a large white head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, nice tropical mango, getting hops, which surprises me for the low ibu’s. The taste is easy drinking, mango and orange and other tropical fruitiness, lightly dry finish, very light hops, but are there. This would be a perfect session beer, might have a new camping beer!

This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than thirty seconds leaving some messy lacing sliding into the beer. The smell had a big sweet burst of tropical goodness flowing into floral and sweet grassy qualities. The taste was mainly sweet with barely any bitterness. Tropical fruits really dominate and allowing a sticky sweet aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs fairly smooth and sweet somewhat candy - like to semi-creaminess runs along my tongue. Overall, APA or APWA, I’m thinking this is an APA, as I don’t get any wheat bite anywhere. Still a delicious beer I’d probably come back to preferably in the Summer.
