1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Can. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (caramel), lightly hoppy (apricot), with a strong note of diacetyl, other notes of plastic and taffy. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, unclean/buttery. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Massive diacetyl makes this completely undrinkable, almost nothing but butter. And from Bend of all places, for shame!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
I ordered this blind from the tap handle, assuming I would getting Descender IPA. While not disappointing, I was taken aback at how light and smooth it was, very silky in texture. Grains/malt feature here, no hops to speak of. Blend of a wheat ale, Golden’s and minor lager characteristics. A nice diversion...

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Millers at the Cove. Pours a clear gold with a near white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a nice citrus note with a bit of grass and a sweet grain backbone. Flavor has a bit of resin and bitter citrus up front with growing sweet citrus and sweet grains.
