A bit of a chemically tang to this plain malty brew - I suspect problems! (Cask at Nottingham Beer Festival)

Cask conditioned - Oxford BF - gravity dispense. Listed in the programme as a lager style beer, but i find it hard to categorize as such although it does have a grassy sulphuric lager like aroma. The colour is a murky dark brown, and the taste again is lagerish. There is a also a smoky taste present. Weird and almost endearing.
