Bottle: Small to medium off white beoge colored head, changes slowly into a vaster lacing with a small open part here and there. The color is dark but when hel into the light an almost clear and ruby colored beer manifest itself. The aroma is a mix of autumnal herbs, nuts, some malts, prunes, sweets, herby grainy and raisin. The flavours are a mix of many autumnal herbs, caramel, toast, nuts, barley malts, bitter, some spices, molasses, and toasted sweeter grains. Aftertaste is malty and nutty bitter, toasted autumnal herbs, caramelised raisin and a subtle dryness. Low carbo, soft mouthfeel with a light spicy touch, medium body and a light watery light creamy texture. Bit of a strange beer, just a tiny bit out of balance. Overall a strong autumnal herby and darker fruity beer with a dry touch. Ok beer, but don’t expect anything crazy here.

Aroma of apples, rasins, some ref fruits and malts. Ruby red colour, with a fast vanishing head. Flavours of red fruits, rasins, a bit of caramel and plums. A bit dry maltyness that give it a kindof rusty aftertaste.

Taste: pretty bitter, lots of dark chocolate, some banana, mocha, bitter hops, little sourish, overripe fruits. Aftertaste: mocha, banana, sugary, overripe fruits, bitter touch, liquorish, spices, dry ending. Not a big fan.

330ml bottle. Clear, ruby red glowing, chestnut colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Slightly sweet-ish, dark malty aroma with a nuttily touch. Taste is dark malty with a nuttily touch, unpleasant bitter-roasty-metallic overtones.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a clear dark reddish brown this a thin off white head. The aroma is caramel malt, yeast. The flavour is medium bitter light sweet with a big malt light hop resin woody palate and long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Lots of flavour and rather smooth. I enjoyed drinking this.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a reddish brown with a small tan head and an aroma of various herbs, malts, chocolate, caramel and roastiness. The taste is slightly sweet and spicey, but not too much. The finish has a short-lasting sourness, that was quite surprising for a doppelbock. Not much wrong with this beer, except for the finish, but I won’t drink this anymore.

Botted 330ml @Petalax Dark brown color, small steady beige head. Woody, malty aroma. Light to medium bodied. Malty, some earthy hoppyness, light chocolate. Not very interesting and a bit too yeasty.
