Cask by Air Dispense at Geordie’s Byre, Ayr (11 Mar 12) - clear pale golden ale with a thin off-white head, very mild citrus aroma, flavour of caramel and mild citrus, sweet, nice and smooth, served just a little bit cold

Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, butter, light hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average to long duration, butter, citrus notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100804]

[3274-20100803] Cask sample. Honey dough bread yeast aroma. Clear, light orange yellow body with a quick foamy white head. More of the aroma in the flavour with a long yeasty dough aftertaste. Medium body. Interesting to try, quite mild initially but seems to sneak up on you.

2010-08-03. Crisp yellow body with a small white head. 3+ Sweet flora aroma, lightly grainy. 5+ Flavour is similar, modest hops, floral character, grainy malt. Average palate. Not much going on but mostly okay. Cask at GBBF 2010

Cask handpump at GBBF ’10. Pale gold with a white head. Buttery aroma. Grainy malt taste and a mid bitter finish. Not my favourite style, but I liked this.

Cask at GBBF 2008. Dark straw coloured with thick white head. Hoppy spicy nose, well balanced bitterness and sweetness on the tongue, leaving a spicy bitter finish with a hint of pepper. Light bodied and refreshing, yet surprisingly rich.
