Cask at the New Inn, Clitheroe. Clear gold with firm, lasting white head. Flowery, citrus hop aroma. Powerful floral and grapefruit flavours with a satisfying dry, bitter finish. Enough malt to counter the hoppiness and give a balanced palate. Excellent.

Cask at the New Inn, Appetreewick. Well kept. Beer pours golden brown with a foamy head and has a light haze. Aroma has a solid caramel malt backbone, over which are piney and grapefruit hop flavours. Very well balanced with a bitter finish. Excellent Yorkshire ale.

On cask at Cloisters. Pours a light golden colour with a prominent apricot aroma. Passion fruit, pineapple and caramel characters also. Similar flavours with apricot upfront again. Mild carbonation and bitterness. Very nice.

Cask at Ealing beer fest. Aroma is citrusy, grassy, perfumy, pale malts. Taste is again all about the hops, good bitter finish, however as it warms a small dog factor comes into it.

A Mes rate: Cask at the White Horse.
Bright gold with a thin white film. Lovely dusty lemony hops with a really pleasing mineral and sulphurous note. Gloriously grassy with a great bitter finish. Really drinkable and enjoyable.

Cask Conditioned Gravity Dispense Merton BF. A blonde beer with a small white ring of bubbles. The aroma is spicy and peppery with some spritzy lemon notes. Very bitter in the mouth with sharp lemon and grapefruit hoppy notes. Good bitter flavours.
