Jun 8, 2006 Cask handpull at Market Porter. Deep copper colour with thin beige head. I really just don’t like these earthy caramel dominated bitters. The caramel dominates too much and it is just not to my taste. Nothing wrong with it at all, but not my style of bitter.
leaparsons (4001), Leicester, Leicestershire, England
May 29, 2006 Cask, Rugby Fest 06. Amber/brown with a small head. Aromas are lots of sweet toffee with cookies, dough and earthy hops. Flavours are sweet malty toffee and caramel with come citrus. Earthy, dry and spicy hops towards the finish. Quite flavoursome.
