2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 harrisoni (10070) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUN 8, 2006
Cask handpull at Market Porter. Deep copper colour with thin beige head. I really just don’t like these earthy caramel dominated bitters. The caramel dominates too much and it is just not to my taste. Nothing wrong with it at all, but not my style of bitter.

Cask, Rugby Fest 06. Amber/brown with a small head. Aromas are lots of sweet toffee with cookies, dough and earthy hops. Flavours are sweet malty toffee and caramel with come citrus. Earthy, dry and spicy hops towards the finish. Quite flavoursome.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 DeepBlack (386) - Derby, Derbyshire, ENGLAND - NOV 22, 2004
Striaght from the Cask at the Erewash Beer fest in Sandiacre on Sat 20th Nov 2005.
Mid / light brown colour. A very odd smell & a taste that suggested it was near the end of the barrel (still clear though), if so then fair enough. But if that’s what it was supposed to be like then it’s not good.
