Oct 12, 2008 Cask, gravity, at Bedford BF ’08. Very dark brown. Sweet buttery aroma. Sweet taste full of toffee and liquorice, oily and nearly cloying. Lingering bitterness. Not a beer to relax with.

Black brown colour with no head. Heavy diacetyl with some faint smoky malt just about making it through. Not great.

Apr 16, 2008 Cask, Loughborough Fest 08. Black with a small head. Aormas are earthy coffee with some sweetness. Yeasty and spritzy. Flavours are dark syrup and molasses with sweet coffee and earthy notes.
