COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed to honor the brave souls who kept our brew pub open in the early 90’s while wrecking balls tore down the mall around us. Dry and smooth, with a grassy, citrus aroma and a honey malt middle.

bottle from ølbutikken, as Goose Island Demolition. clear yellow, smooth white head malty, slightly citrussy aroma, something resembling belgian yeast and belgian yellow fruits. flavor is sugary, malty, belgian yeast, yellow fruits, slight bitterness as if from wild yeast, but not very pronounced. all in all a dry, yellow fruity belgian yeasty brew.

(Rating #3564)

this is good for sure. Compared to alot it’s just ok. I will say that this has much better body than most I’ve tasted. A solid brew. Its refreshing and controls your tastes with its carbonation. Nice yeast presence. Smooth, dry and easy to drink. Slightly sweet.

Bottle. Moderate malt and hop aromas of grain and flowers, light barnyard for the yeast, with hints of apple and clove. Head is small, fizzy, white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is clear, but has super tiny suspended particles, yellow/amber. Flavor starts lightly sweet and moderately acidic, then finishes moderately acidic and lightly bitter. Palate is light to medium, a bit slick with a lively carbonation. This is a nice fruity, spicy and refreshing Belgian Ale.

Sweet aroma of stone fruit, bready/yeast, & hops. Pours clear golden with a thin white head, clinging to the glass. Dry, citrus, hits the center with hop bitterness, and finishes tart and nutty. Very nice mouthfeel. Meaty, not too thin! This a a good take on a Belgian Golden, a little ramped up on the ABV, and fairly complex. tasted @ 58F.

It looks like a fizzy, yellow beer, but it sure doesn’t taste like one! Very yellow with a thin white head. Has a pastoral aroma with some funkiness and lemon. Very dry on the tongue with grassy and (mild) wild yeast flavors. There’s a honeyed sweetness that balances really well with the dryness, and this stays behind and seems to evolve into a light caramel flavor. The lemony citrus aroma comes through in the taste also. Has a very earthy taste like a good Saison. I’m sure glad Goose Island survived the wrecking ball so they could make this (and many other) excellent beer!

From memory, not as bubbly as Duvel, has a good, bright flavor to it, relatively strong in the alcohol department, Demolition is a pretty good take on a Belgian Golden.

22 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a hazy gold with a pillowy white head. The nose is pretty much straight bubble gum and Belgian yeast. The flavor follows suit with a little more complexity. Higher than average carbonation helps lighten up some of the sweetness. Good but not mind blowing.
