On tap at Goose Island Clybourn. Served in a sampler glass. Pours a golden-orange color with a nice white head and some spotty lacing. Nose has a touch of rye spice along with some citrus and light stone fruit notes. Flavor is citrus rind with bread and rye malt. Medium body with a touch of spice and moderate bitterness. Good, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Flight on tap at the brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours a firm amber orange hue, some fiery glow but no real haze. Sunset glow in body and edges with a loose bubbled offwhite head that dies to a small layer, laces small. Aromas are a fairly firm citrus and tropical elements, lemons and grapefruit pair into grass, florals, and touches of bubblegum. Some stale grain and some bready malts. Sweeter nose as it warms, tangerines, mangos, and a hint of cotton candy (Damn Drew for making me notice that all the time now). Touches of rye are lacking. Initial is lighter bodied, offering some pleasant dryness, firm bitter hops, florals, and tropical elements up front. Gentle oranges, tangerines, fuzzy prickly carbonation catch the palate. Gentle peach, dry bready malts, pale malts, and a touch of toastiness into middle and backend. Dry hops, gentle lemon, grass, and florals linger into the backend and finish. Crisp and dry, easily quaffable. The nose scared me off a bit, as it was sweeter than expected. But overall, dry and bitter and lighter fare. Not bad. Fairly firm lingering hops of citrus, earthy florals, dry and bitter, a touch of tropical or melon influence. Nice. Flavors are on as far as hop profile, quite drinkable at its level of body

Sampled from the tap at the Clyborn location. Pours a clear amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is light with grapefruit and pine with a a backing rye note. Flavor has a light bitter grapefruit note with a combination of rye and light grains.

On tap at Clybourn brewpub. Pours lightly hazed amber with white head. Aromas of caramel malts, grapefruit citrus, some light peach and mango too. Flavors of grapefruit, light tropical fruit and peach, and caramel malts. Body is a little thin and lacking a bit of carbonation and hop bitterness. Drinkable APA.
