3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear light brown. Lots of creamy white head. The most enticing beer I have seen in some time. Malt, banana, oak, bread, caramel, molasses. Tastes hoppy and oaky. Very bitter and light texture.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. 2nd bottle Iíve had of this; couldnít rate it at the time but had to buy a sizer because I loved it. Sugary aroma thatís not particularly hoppy. Hazy reddish amber. Beautiful color. Nice layer of off white head. First sip is lighter bodied than I remember, but at only 6.4% not surprising. Very nice beer, just struggling a little with the lightness. Still it has the signature goose island flavor profile, a nod to their noteworthy 25-yr history.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Amber in color, thin head and a super aroma. Nice malt backing with a great finish I was impressed with this ESB.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clear amber poured into a nonic pint glass with a decent tan head that sticks around a while. Sweet malt aroma of ripe fruit. Smooth medium mouth feel with just the right amount of hop bitterness to let the malt shine through. Lingering filling finish. One of the best American ESBís available right now.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap. Amber, brown color with white head. Aroma is mostly hops and not much else. Taste is hops, malt, almost a brown ale taste. This was nice but not great.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a clear golden brown with thin ring of white lacy head. Aroma is kind of faint, bread and a hint of toffee. taste is much fuller, with nice bready grain and toasted notes. Solid for the style, but was expecting more from an anniversary beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle purchased at Oliverís Beverage Center, Albany, NY. Color is amber/ orange with thin layer of white head in my English pint glass. Aroma has pine and citrus with some doughy bread. Taste is toffee and caramel malt with an herbal bitterness that is similar to a flower. Pretty well balanced overall, yet with a nice hop bite. Medium body with a tingle on the mouthfeel. This is much better then I expected.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask pour at GI, Clybourn. Russet colored, super light and fluffy head. Body is almost ephemeral at times, and yet wholly substantial. Magic! Loads of toasted malts dominate the nose, and the flavors add to this a pronounced maple syrup note that make things pretty damn toasty and breakfasty. As my main man said, not sure itís necessarily an ESB but itís pretty satisfying.
