2013 bottle to a pint glass. Pours a nice clear mahogany color with a thick, creamy, tan head. Aroma is a toffee malt with some herbal hops. Taste is the toffee like malt with an herbal bitterness that gives way to a more grassy taste. Pretty well balanced overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear copper with a slow to form one finger of creamy head with decent retention and good lacing. Aroma is malty and toasty with caramel and some fruit character, maybe fig. Malty toffee sweetness in taste with grassy and woody hop flavor and a light bitterness. Mouthfeel is semi creamy and medium bodied with light/medium carbonation. A good ESB with full flavor.

Draft. The pour is amber. The aroma is faint hops. The taste is mild and a little flavorless. Some fruit does come through. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Tosa Wine & Spirits. Pours a copper color with a white head leaving some lacing. Aroma has pine and citrus with some doughy bread. Taste is of sweet caramel and bitter piney/citrus and some other fruitiness. Certainly malty and bitter both. Medium bodied. Finishes more bitter than sweet and slighty sour. Solid and decently tasty.

Pours clear bronze with a modest sized off beige head. The aroma has stone fruit, English earthiness, toffee malt, floral / perfume notes and a bit of apple. Pretty nice & quite clean. Medium / thin body with a nice amount of assertive carbonation. Starts quite malty with toffee, caramel and earthiness. It’s definitely on the sweet side, but not overly so and there some of the fruit and floral notes from the aroma, but they aren’t as assertive. The finish shows and earthy/spicy hop character. Pretty nice for the style.
