Pours a clear bronze-orange color with a medium thick and foamy white head that diminishes slowly. Sticky patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, caramel and hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, earthy hops and a touch of fruit. The finish is moderately sweet with a bready malt aftertaste. Decent ESB overall.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, dark reddish pour with white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, dough, bread, hints of yeast into some lemon, grass, herbal notes, slight floral as well. Taste is a mix of herbs, grass, flowers, and spice into some lemon, touch of orange into lots of bread, dough, slight yeasty note, finishing slightly sweet.

(Backlog) 12 oz bottle. The look is clear, off white light head, and amber in color. The smell is malty, touch of fruit, toasted bread, and caramel. The taste is malty, caramel, toast, and good.

jbuskirk (486) - Holdrege, Nebraska, USA - DEC 30, 2013
A very pretty beer, to say the least. Clear reddish brown body and a creamy head. The aroma is floral and fruity. The taste is what seals the deal. Endlessly enjoyable malt taste with big caramel and toffee tastes. The finish is equally sweet but hints at fruit rather than candy sugar. This beer is pretty damn likable. It’s far too easy to drink and has something for almost anyone.

Dark copper, reddish beer with a three finger head. Leaves lacing on the glass. Nose: Earthy notes, grass, pepper and hops. Taste: Dried fruit, honey, nuts, orange and malt. Medium body and a bitterness that stays in your mouth. God and easy drinking but nothing special.

Bottled. Pours a reddish orange with a small white head. Clean, lightly toasted grain aroma with black peppery spice, orange peel, rose petals - pretty light overall but pleasant. Moderately sweet flavor, a lot of caramel malts up front with a backbone of toasted rye bread and highlights of apricots, light white pepper and buttermilk biscuits. Soft mouthfeel with fine carbonation. Better that the the sum of its parts.

Pours a dark copper brown with a nice head. Aroma is malt, caramel, and some fruit. The taste is fruity and lightly hoppy with a decent malt backbone. Unfortunately, there’s a metallic taste in the finish that’s really unpleasant. It’s just an ok beer before the finish but the metallic taste makes it not very enjoyable for me.
